The rating breakdown
Google shows 19 ratings for this business. Below twenty, a percentage swings too far on a single review to mean anything, so we don’t publish one. 2 of those are one or two star.
Google’s published star breakdown
| Rating | Distribution | Count | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 star | 17 | 89.5% | |
| 4 star | 0 | 0% | |
| 3 star | 0 | 0% | |
| 2 star | 2 | 10.5% | |
| 1 star | 0 | 0% |
Counts as published by Google in its star breakdown, not the reviews we have read. Google also publishes a review count, which does not always match this total. Each row is rounded on its own, so the shares need not add to exactly 100%.
What the complaints say
Moving goes wrong in a small number of specific ways. These are the ones reviewers describe in the low-star reviews we have read for Master Movers, counted by matching the words they used.
- Damage to belongings2 · 100%

In their own words
Poor experience with Mayflower. It all started well and then went downhill. While Linda was pleasant to deal with on the phone, I was told that my move price would be adjusted for needing fewer containers and having less weight than initially estimated – which was significant – the actual weight was a third less. However, Mayflower corporate then told me was not true because I had signed a bound estimate (I wasn’t given another option).
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
Master movers was great. The company was very organized, and sent someone out to estimate our move. They were very reasonably priced and explained the costs included in the estimate Ivan, Diego, Joseph, and Abi got our stuff loaded quickly and delivered to our new place the next day. They were polite and great to work with. They were very careful, and didn't manage any of our stuff. At the delivery site, they made sure to ask where each item was supposed to go, and how we wanted the furniture placed.
We’re delighted to hear about your positive relocation experience with our team. It's wonderful to know that Ivan, Diego, Joseph, and Abi provided you with efficient and careful service, ensuring everything was placed just as you wanted.
