Master Movers LLC

WARNING- DO NOT USE THESE UNPROFESSIONAL MOVERS!!! The movers arrived 1 and a half hours LATE. They were good with loading but then when we had to make a second trip back to pick up some leftover items, it took 4 men almost 2 hours to load a washer dryer and take apart beds because two of them were doing NOTHING during this time. The four men just dumped all the boxes in any space they could find. We later found boxes for the kitchen in the garage, for the bedroom in the bathroom, etc.

Had a very disappointing experience with Master Movers. What was supposed to be an easy, straightforward small home move by professionals turned into an extremely stressful, 10-hour long day of stress (with me having to assist) resulting in thousands of dollars worth of damage due to negligence, and a $600 Xbox "missing" (stolen). For context, one of the original two movers walked off of the job unexpectedly after 2 hours.

The 3 movers were fantastic! All were very professional, polite and a joy to work with. The problem came in when the office person, Mercedes, did not do a good job when we initially requested service. She asked how many rooms and not the size of the furniture, therefore the truck was not big enough to hold all of our items. We are now making a second trip on our own with a trailer to complete the move. Mercedes also did not share all of the costs, the hidden costs.

These guys were awful. We were moving about a mile down the road into a new home. We had all our furniture taken apart and all the odds and ends, dishes, etc. boxed up and in the garage. All they had to do was put the stuff in the truck, drive it a mile, and unload it into the new house. The three guys they sent seemed to have no idea what they were doing. They would move one item about every ten minutes, then take a break.

We contracted this company to move us a few miles down the road. They sent three young adults to move us. I had to constantly asked the guys to move more than one box at a time, even though we had all the boxes stacked and ready. A long story short. The guys kept stopping to talk to the ladies rather than actually move things. We ended up having several several items destroyed and our new house and old house took extensive damage that the company refused to own up to.

Master Movers? More like "Master Rip-Off Artists!" After seeing a recent "Amazon LocalDeals," and needing help with a move, we decided to give them a call. Jennifer was very pleasant to deal with and was patient as we had to reschedule the move three times (because of difficulties with our house closing). I didn't want to pay for very much moving time since they charge by the hour. I rented my own truck, and got all of our boxes and loose junk taken care of the previous evening.

Giving a one star rating to Master Movers is too generous. I recommend NEVER using this company ... Ever. I made an appointment with them to load a UHaul well in advance.. Called the day before to confirm and was told they would be at my place between noon and 1pm. 1:45pm no call and no show. When I contacted them.. Jennifer told me the crew was held up and that she was sending a different crew over and they would be there shortly. More time passed and the crew called and said they were on their way..

I don’t care how good your moving service is because my experience with your racist staff was enough to convince me that I will never trust this company with my belongings. This morning, I was walking with my baby in a stroller when one of your company trucks drove by and the driver leaned on the horn for about three straight seconds. There were no cars blocking the road, no pedestrians in the way, and nothing that would justify that behavior.
