In their own words
I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with Anuj from Maven Moving has been so disappointing that I felt compelled to share it. I was referred to Maven Moving by a couple people in my building and initially reached out to obtain a quote and book an upcoming move. From the outset, communication was inconsistent. My initial inquiry took a long time to receive a response to, and I was told the delay was due to recovering from jet lag.
Awful experience! They were nearly 2 hrs late arriving, with no call to let us know they were "stuck in traffic"; we had to call them 8 times(!) before anyone picked up. Then, they assured us they'd still have us moved out well before the 6:00 deadline when ownership changed hands... spoiler alert: they did not! On arrival at the second location to move our stuff in to our new house, we were again assured they would be done within 4-5 hrs, as it was already late and our kids needed to get to bed.
Terrible experience. The price was changed three times, ending up at $1000, which is far too expensive — I could have hired a much better and more professional team for that amount. They handled my furniture carelessly and some items were damaged. I do not recommend this company at all. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Worst moving company ever. They give you one quote and they charge you double or triple at the end. Save your money- I do not recommend. I thought they are honest people not like this! Please avoid at all costs!!!
Would not recommend or at least don't use the payment link they send as they have access to your back account and will pull money out even after business has concluded months ago and will call it an error
Dear Jacob, We provided moving services for you on March 15, and on the same date a payment of $262.75 was processed for the completed services. We have all relevant documentation and records available, including the signed contract, booking confirmation, payment details, and payment receipt that…

We had a great experience with Maven Moving for our three-bedroom move from Toronto to Ottawa. Anuj and his team were professional, efficient, and very careful with all of our belongings throughout the move. The entire process was smooth and well-organized, and the team handled everything with care, from loading to unloading. Moving such a large distance can be stressful, but Anuj and his team made the experience much easier and gave us peace of mind.
Dawit and David were great. Anuj provided a reasonable rate. Thank you guys for your help.
Excellent experience with Sahil , Jass and Anuj. They showed up exactly when they said they would, and got our furniture out in a safe and efficient manner. They even helped rebuild some of the furniture that we had to take apart to make the move smoother. Definitely recommend!
I hired Maven Moving Inc. to move my parents’ house in Canada while I was in India, and I’m really happy with their service. The entire process was handled smoothly and without any hassle. The team was very cooperative, professional, and …
