Mesa Moving and Storage: Grand Junction

We used Mesa Moving and Storage for our move to Pueblo. We have so many items that are broken or missing. It took them six weeks to get our dishes to us because they forgot to pack them! When my dishes arrived, two bowls, a coffe cup and drinking glass was broken. My garden cart was also left out of the move, that took six weeks to get here. I just had a claims person come by to look at all of the broket items. That took six weeks to happen.

rted out good. I needed my things packed and moved to storage. I was working out of state but my neighbor could be there. They told me they had climate controlled storage and I could pay them about 28 more a month to use their storage instead. I agreed. I told them the only things I care about are my saddle collection and my bureau from my great, great Aunt.

I had been told good things originally about these guys. Unfortunately I should have researched more. I called to get an estimate, they came out and I was quoted for the full move. ( I had a 2 part move for clarification). They sent me one quote, that stated both my pick up date and second delivery date. I was lead to believe this was my full estimate. Moving day came for part 1, guys were nice but worried me with how rough they were with everything. I had to open a box to make sure bowls weren't broken.

OMG! Move was SO bad it could be made into a movie. Loading day main guy leaves for 2 hours right after arriving to go to McDonalds after everyone being about 30 minutes late. The other guys sit in their cars while waiting for main guy to come back. Once he comes back one of the 4 movers quits on the spot. Another mover brought his aggressive dog and tied him to a tree in my front yard. This mover eventually started screaming profanity where all neighbors could hear, etc.

Don't let these people touch any of your stuff. Find another company. They don't care about handling your property with care. They will damage your stuff and then lie about it. They will straight up lie so they don't have to pay up for the damage they cause. And there partners zippy shell. If you like your property and care about how it's handled. Do not let these people touch it. They say they have skilled trained professionals helping you.

We Requested a 4 man team to help us with a commercial move and all the details and tasks needing to be completed where advised Prior. They Agreed and took the Job on. They sent 3 men with no idea what they where doing. And where unable to complete the Job themselves. There was a team of contractors on-site to assist. If they had not been there to do Majority of the work this would have been an absolute Fail. There unwell planning and failure to asking questions prior to the Actual Job was excellent!

None of my big furniture was wrapped like I was told. Our couch rubbed on something and wore the material off (1 year old), our 65” tv is broken (3 years old), one dresser is dinged up and scratched in multiple spots (1.5 years old), brand new mattress was not wrapped and is now dusty and dirty. Our stuff was loaded on one truck and taken to a warehouse and then loaded on to another truck. A week later and someone is supposed to contact me to come out and assess the damage and I haven’t been contacted.

I used this company to move and store furniture three times this year. You can imagine that this was no cheap bill. One the very last move, one of the movers (a summer hire, no doubt) who was not following the policy of two movers for anything with glass, broke the glass door out of one of my cabinets. Despite the amount of business I did with this company, instead of just doing the right thing and repairing the damage done by their employee, they issued us a check based on some bogus calculations for $87.
