May be the company is good. But the those guys who came to move my place. They were thieves. Literally thieves. They stole one of my TV, a Watch and a whiskey bottle. I contacted the office saying my TV was not unloaded. But no response. When I realized other things missing too. Then I realized that they are thieves. TV and other things didn’t go missing by mistake, they just stole it.

Absolutely pathetic booking company. They are located in Toronto, completely terrible communication. They even confirmed our move the night before and totally messed up. Do yourself a favour and call the subcontractors directly. Saves you the truck fee and other fees. The local sub contractors were awesome! Joe and Nate two thumbs up guys!
Didn't get past talking on the phone with this company but VERY rude! The salesperson was very pushy and sounded like I was inconveniencing him, just for calling! Will take my business elsewhere next time!

Be very careful with Metropolitan Movers Thunder Bay. When Matt and Melinda moved to Thunder Bay we originally asked for 2 men for 4 hours then changed to 4 men for 4 hours. They ended up sending us 2 men who stayed for 3 hours with no truck. The movers were great and when done shows me bill for $406.80. When my credit card statement came the bill was for $632.80 a difference of $226 dollars. Tried contacting the company and left voicemail and emails however no one contacted me back.
Hello, Sorry to hear a misunderstanding has occurred. We send a confirmation email with all the details of pricing and our terms and conditions. Our sales team always explains the charges in advance, during booking and our confirmation call.
I’d rate 0 stars if I could. Contacted this mover made arrangements for my move. Was told everything was in place, and contract would be sent within 48 hours. Checked to confirm and was told all was a go and contract confirmation was coming. I waited and nothing. Again I called to question the move and again was told not to worry as it was set and confirmation would be sent. Three days later received a call advising they could not fulfil contract for that date, over booked.

After reading some of the reviews and going through the fake ones , I read they did a long distancr move from Washington to Ontario. And for a great price. So I called and told the lady on the phone I wanted to move From Pickle Lake to Kapuskasing. Well then I had to explain that it was not a 13 minute move. Then I was told it was to far for them to move. I'm glad that's as far as the conversation went.

Thank you for your feedback but we are not Scammers as you claim. Metropolitan Movers Thunder Bay have been in business for many years and have a lot of happy and repeat clients. Our agents do not call Unknown number, perhaps it was a different company.

This company hard working employees are amazing! A breath of fresh air !! I lost my husband suddenly 8 short. Weeks ago, and transitioning to move into my daughter’s home. With limited time and assistance, my incredible Oisin and his wife recommended this company. These 3 men never stopped for 10 hours straight! Even having a bite of a sandwich was on the go!
