In their own words
Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. I have never in my life dealt with more incompetent, rude, inept people. I wish I could give them negative stars. Their first delivery attempt they couldn’t fit the dresser up the stairs and pivot it the way it needed to be to get to my bedroom. The owner of the company I bought the dresser from looked at the pictures and said they shouldn’t have had a problem.
While the delivery coordination process was straightforward and easy to schedule, the actual execution has been very disappointing. I selected a delivery window of 1:30 PM–4:30 PM and received no text message, email, or phone call regarding any anticipated delays. Once the delivery window had passed and the delivery was already more than 90 minutes late, I had to proactively call customer service and navigate the phone directory just to get an update.
I just received my delivery. The manufacturer (Namesake Co.) told me to inspect the product before signing. I was feeding my 4 month old to ready him for a nap, and when they put it in the room, I asked if they stay for 5 mins so I can inspect it. He sighed at me saying their delivery service is excellent and don’t have problems. I opened one side and he asked for me to sign so there won’t be problems. U said it has nothing to do with him, but the manufacturer.
Overall Rating: 1/5 Stars (Worst White Glove Service Imaginable) My experience with Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery was, without a doubt, the worst delivery experience I have ever had. If you are paying for "White Glove" service, look elsewhere, because this company is utterly incompetent and will fail to deliver even the most basic standard of care. 1. Initial Failure & Unjustified Cancellation My problems started immediately when the initial delivery was cancelled for no reason on the day it was scheduled.
Would give them a zero if that was an option. Started with an online purchase from Costco...can't believe Costco uses this company. Paid $85 for Metropolitan White Glove delivery and set up service. Metro called me to tell me when they were going to deliver; yes told me the date. I told them I didn't realize that I didn't get to pick my delivery date. They then asked me what date would work. After 5 confirming phone calls, the delivery arrived. Two delivery people came, one was pretty nice, the other was heinous.
Their average rating would be lower if you could give 0 stars. Hands down, the worst customer experience my wife and I have ever experienced. Why does Anthropologie (and Costco) support such a poorly managed company. If you ever order product on Anthropologie and have to return it, good luck. You will have to deal with Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery. They are consistent...everyone we spoke with had no way of resolving our issue.
Where do I start? This company is by far the worst delivery company I have ever dealt with. First scheduling is ridiculous. They are "only in my area" on Fridays, so you have to make a Friday work. Second, when the delivery team finally showed up at 7:30 (after the 3-7 pm window), the driver tells me that they only have one of the two nighstands in the set because "one was damaged in the warehouse". That was the first time I heard of it.
This company is horrible, I ordered from Jennifer Taylor Home and this is who they use for delivery service. These people delivered the wrong item to my house, I pointed out to the driver that the box had a different name and address on it. I tried to tell him that this item clearly did not belong to me because that was not my name or address, He totally ignored me and said ma'am you need to call the store that you ordered from if there is a problem.

In their own words
Delivery guy Francisco Mejia was extremely professional and was careful with furniture. Father and son delivered furniture and were friendly and courteous. Delivery was on time and set up was fast.
They were very good at communicating when the delivery of my file cabinet would take place. They even have a real-time map where you can see where they are on the route. The delivery staff were very efficient and friendly. Thank you for a nice experience!
I actually had a wonderful experience with them. They delivered for living room chairs that were packed in boxes brought them all inside . They then took them out of the boxes and placed them where I needed them and disposed of all the boxes and took them with them. A very friendly very kind nice and cleaned up after themselves and had a great experience With Anthony and Elijah.
They call 20 minutes before they got here and make sure I was here so that gave me the heads up time to be able to make a space for them and they carried the stuff up and it was in mint condition this place is awesome metropolitan warehouse and delivery is on point making your day and life much better if they didn't mind
