Dealing with this company is the worst moving experience and I have changed homes a few times, including continents. They packed my items and after storing them at their facility, everything delivered was broken or scratched. I am missing a few things as well. On the funny side, I’ve got delivered an extra TV - which I returned but who knows where it ended.
I am very sorry to hear of the experience you had on your recent move. Please let us know if there anything further we can assist with as I am aware the claim is in process and being handled by our coordinator.
Mid-West was contracted by Adam's Vanlines to facilitate my move. This review has been left on both companies pages due to lack of care and resolution to a completely horrible moving process and incompetent movers I've moved multiple times in my career with several moving companies and Adams is by far the worst. Straight broker, fairly certain they intentionally low bid your move and then increase the price on mover arrival (more than doubled my total move cost).

The first time I used this company everything was fine. However, we made an appointment for today July 27th, and I was told that the window they would be arriving was between 8 am and 9 am. It is currently 10 am and they have not showed. I’ve called the office and Michael Tae individually four times and received no response. I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of communication and I would not recommend this company to anyone ever again.

To whom it may concern, I am writing to tell you about my experience with Midwest Moving and Storage. My service dates were 3-1-25 to 3-22-25. Upon the removal of my furniture everything seemed to go great. The crew was friendly and handled everything with great care. Before returning I emailed the person who set up the move, Dave Mills requesting the same crew that handled the furniture the first time around ( an email that he also included employees Marc Mendoza and Micheal Tae on ).
They got 2 stars because my stuff arrived. Otherwise not happy. I had 1 office chair leather scuffed up, 1 office chair arm broken, 1 dining room chair with filthy fabric and broken leg. The worst was my beautiful oak dining tables pedestal legs were all split. Amir said it was old wood. Ridiculous. Amir had also changed my delivery date on my payment paperwork. I asked if this was just for payment and had anything else changed, he said no just payment. Being a 65 year old exhausted women, I did not catch that.

Mid-west moving has an amazing team of hard workers! Shak and his crew Gary, Nasaa, Battugs and Enkherdene barely even stopped when taking a break in 90 plus degree weather all day! I was sweating, just watching them work. We have moved many of times and this unpack was definitely one of the fastest, cleanest and most courteous of them all. That was 100% due to the team. Even when they ran into mechanical issues with the truck the operations coordinator, Dan was on top of it and very infomative.

Great company- really thorough and efficient! They completely emptied my condo in less than two hours and were very careful with the things that were going to be donated! I got a couple other estimates and they were very competetive. Jose is a gentlemen and a very hard worker!!! Would use again if I ever need another clean-out!

The movers were amazing. Nothing broken, the move was SUUUUPER SMOOTH AND FAST! I never felt like they were riding the clock because I was paying by the hour, actually at the pace they were going I felt like they were trying to SAVE me money.
