The rating breakdown
3 of the 33 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for Mighty Men Moving Incorporated are one or two star.
Worked out from 33 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.
Against other listings in Fairfax

In their own words
I was quotes for 150 for 3 movers for my move day. The day off, only 2 showed up, and when I asked them about the rate, they claimed it is 150 for 2 movers. I proceeded to explain the quote I already had, and when I asked who can I talk to, the guy said there is no one you can call. After I showed him the contract I signed, he ended up calling his boss, and then gave me a quote for 130 per hour, which is now too steep for what they were offering.
TL;DR: Nothing was damaged (if you don't count scratched walls). Still, I wouldn't recommend these movers. No uniforms, no booties, and overall we felt we had to supervise the entire ordeal, in general professionalism was really lacking. …
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
The Mighty Men Moving crew arrived on time, they were polite and friendly, and worked efficiently. They wrapped all the furniture, and took special care of three fragile-ish antiques. All of the furniture arrived in the same condition it departed it. Well, one arrived in better condition. One cabinet had a door that wasn't closing right from the last movers. I had tried to fix it, but couldn't figure it out. One of the movers knew the trick, and now the door is perfect.
Highly Recommend Mighty Men Moving - Emmanuel was super responsive and helped get everything set up quickly and worked with our schedule to get everything knocked out in one day. We were moving out of state about 2.5 hours away and they by far provided the best value at the best price. The day of crew was one time, worked super hard to help us get everything accomplished, and were extremely friendly and helpful.
I've moved plenty of times, but this one was was long distance and I needed it to happen within a very specific timeline. After getting eight (8) quotes, I contracted Mighty Men to handle my 380 mile, interstate move from Fairfax county, VA to southeastern NC. They did a great job - on time, every time, with everything as promised, and without damage or losses. Pricing was solid, competitive, and with no "surprises" after the fact.
Fantastic! Thank you for the positive feedback!
I hired Might Men Moving to move my office furniture. Scheduling proved flexible and easy. The crew that came out was fantastic. They were friendly, they were careful, and they really knew what they were doing. This was the best moving experience I have had. At the end of the project, they said the project was smoother and faster than originally anticipated, so the final price was a few hundred dollars lower than the quoted estimate. If you have a move, Mighty Men Moving is the team you want.
