My suggestion is go somewhere else where they will be upfront about pricing. Received an estimate for $400. Paid a $100 deposit and the day of the move should have been $300, maximum. The day of, the movers arrived and handed me the contract and asked me to sign it. I asked them "it will just be $300 for today right?", to which they answer "yes, unless we go over on time." By the movers' own words this was the easiest move they have done.

Called to get estimate. He showed up late talked the whole time about himself and then never even sent me an estimate. Unprofessional and Total waste of 1/2 of my day!

Movers took two hours over quoted time. I payed for three movers, but it was like one mover and two temp workers. Movers argued amongst each other and used profanity. Movers did not have necessary tools to take apart large furniture pieces. Just the overall impression that this company was not very organized, and did not come into my move with a gameplan or the right experienced movers I thought I was getting. I only moved one mile away.

My husband and I have used Mike's Moving twice. The first time was in 2017 and everything went smoothly. My husband worked over the phone with June, and she told him he’d receive a $50 discount if he paid cash after the move was completed. As we lived on the west side of town not far from the MM offices, my husband drove over and paid cash after we finished that day. The second move was in May of this year. My husband spoke with Renee, who also offered a $50 discount if the balance was paid in cash.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. I had bought a new house and had a move date scheduled over 6 WEEKS AHEAD of the date. I spoke to them several times over the course of the 6 weeks, along with the day BEFORE my scheduled move date. The day of the move, they were supposed to be there at 9:00 a.m. When it was 10:00 a.m., there was no one there and I called. I was told they had engine trouble with their truck, but they were on the way. Then, 11:00 a.m. rolls around.

I have no clue how Mike's Moving has been voted "Best of Tallahassee" in the past. Our move from Tallahassee to Athens, GA was the worst experience we have ever had with a move. We have used both local and national movers in the past (Mayflower and Dale's Pack and Load) for full service moves and have had wonderful experiences. Mike's Moving is a joke. The movers were not only significantly late each of the three days of our move, but they did not contact to let us know they were going to be late.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SPEND MORE MONEY TO GET GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE SOMEWHERE ELSE. This company does not know the meaning of customer service, and I'm convinced they don't care to learn how, as long as you keep giving them money. Their staff is under trained and misinformed. It's very hard to get a straight honest answer out of anyone who answers the phone. Good luck trying to figure out what their hours of operation are, because they change so frequently, you'll just waste your time.

Took 9.25 hours to move a 1500 sq foot house which was all packed in boxes except the furniture of course. The move was from one house to another in Tallahassee 6.5 miles apart. Absolutely ridiculous. Two Men and a Truck originally moved me into the one location 4 years ago. That time to move was 10 miles apart. Same situation. All packed up. Took the movers only 3 hours to load and 1.25 to unload. The movers themselves were nice but almost seemed like they are coached to go slow to rack the bill up.
