Milan Laser Hair Removal

I see a lot of perfect reviews here. Unfortunately this isn’t my case. I think the new manager is rude. She uses any excuse to turn a customer away. After all I’m paid in full so why not they already have the money. My appointment was 4 mins before I got there. She saw me walking towards the office while she was calling me on the phone to cancel my appointment. I stayed there for ten minutes while she explained the 5 mins rule. Still with no customers.

I’ve debated leaving a review for a while, but today was the final straw. My appointment was canceled less than five minutes before it was scheduled to begin. I started treatments with Milan Laser Hair Removal back in November 2022 and, nearly three years later, I still have about 90% of the hair I was promised would be treated.

I arrived for my 3:10 PM appointment at 3:00 PM, only to be told that the clinic was closed because the provider was feeling unwell. Unfortunately, I never received a phone call, email, or any other notification that my appointment had been canceled. What made the situation even more frustrating was that a front desk representative was still present in the office. Given that staff were on-site, I don’t understand why clients could not have been notified before arriving.

I had a good experience at Milan Laser at first, but I am sad to say I am extremely disappointed with how it turned out. When I had my consultation, I was told 3 things that turned out to be completely untrue for me: 1. It would take me 7 treatments to fully graduate the program 2. That the laser would work on ANY hair that is visible on a white piece of paper (including red hairs) 3. After every treatment my hairs would shed and fall out, showing that the follicles were dying I have red hair.

It's really hard to write a review for a place where the people are so nice but the company itself really is run poorly. The facility is clean and the customer service is good (although for the price they charge and the type of business that's kind of the minimum). I got my first treatment in October 2024 and now it's nearly 2026 and I'm STILL going. My hair growth is pretty much the same because the schedule is so hard which makes me feel like I've wasted so much time and nothing to show for.

I was at the Newington laser hair removal place, and had the unfortunate pleasure to deal with a rude manager Stephanie. I thought my appointment was for 5:30, so I arrived at 5:26. I was denied service because my appointment was for 5:20 and I arrived at 5:26 pm. Stephanie stated that the leeway is 5 minutes for the appointments and I was 1 minute later than the leeway. I was denied service with 3 people sitting at front desk doing nothing.

Im giving 1 star because Ive had 3 sessions & haven't seen any hair shedding (in the past with other lasers the treated area usually sheds the hairs within 2-3 days) soo this laser is possibly not working for me... Also they have rescheduled my appointments the last 2 times (at first the service provider stated she would be out for a while & had to reschedule my appointment, the 2nd time i was sent a text that they are not taking any clients due to maintenance issues allegedly) which is very inconvenient if you…

They used to be very good regarding keeping appointments but lately the service has gone downhill. I’ve had two appointments in a row cancelled. My first appointment was cancelled due to staff emergency and the rescheduled appointment was AGAIN cancelled lol. Rebooking an already rescheduled appointment is crazy work and NOW I’m going to be weeks past the recommended in between session times.
