This is a fabricated review designed to destroy our integrity we have never moved a Thomas Conroy . Most likely is hard up competitor of ours who has the time of day to this . We have never ever been accused of theft by anyone !
Do NOT hire. Over $1500 of damage caused by them packing up a truck poorly. Fragile things broken, dollhouse/kitchen set damaged, chairs, end tables, and rugs tossed on top. No respect for other people’s belongings. Todd stood by his packing and when I called to see what they were going to do to remedy the issue, he hung up on me. If I could post photos I would and it would convince you to never hire this company. Hire a reputable company with good business ethics and save yourself the headache.
The reason for Heather Smiths dissatisfaction with the turnout of her move is simple, she did not provide ample padding. She had a rental out of state space truck. And she was told to have padding in advance she didn’t. Troy
I am a property manager and today when Mini Movers came to move a resident out, they propped open a security door with a rock. When I asked that they not do this, the man in charge berated me and told me I was rude. I work with over 50 other property managers and have sent and email to them to never recommend their services to their residents (of which there are 1000's). Affordable Movers is terrific and I highly recommend them!! I am not related to anyone working at Affordable Movers!!

My roommate had a horrible experience with this company. They were downright rude, disrespectful, and condescending, and we didn’t even hire them! They were helping move someone else out of our apartment complex and decided it was their place to scold my roommate for something THEY did. Obviously the employees have no respect for other people, and due to that fact would never hire this company.

I was quoted $175, I was charged $400. Moving to a new house and I have marks on the door frames and had broken chips on my furniture. They used 3.5 hours to move me 4 blocks and the first movers took 2 hours to move me 10 miles. My advice, call any of the other movers, don’t ever use them.
She was charged for the services that were needed to get her job done. There was no misleading on our part sorry she didn’t understand moving costs. As far as being told 175.00 that is not something we do to get a job we have been in business 28 years and have done over 30,000 moves we don’t…

Had an unbelievably fast pivot in plans and needed movers asap. The same night the different direction was decided- Michelle picked up the phone despite how late it was and we were so lucky for this. It was a relief to know everything was immediately set after I spoke to her. A day and a half later mini movers showed up, loaded all of my tenants heavy things and took them over to the other property. Before I could get over to the other property everything was perfectly in place.
We are all beyond grateful for review and 5 star rating! We truly appreciate your continued trust in our family business!
Family owned businesses like this are the best to call on when you need help with getting things done. If you have smaller jobs to do and are flexible with your schedule they will fit you in within a reasonable time frame which is so helpful when you have a lot going on and need to take things off your checklist. So far I have called them twice and it's been great. Both times the communication, can do attitude, ability to clarify and follow directions have been 100%.
