Honestly I hate to have to write this but we had a shockingly terrible experience. Movers took three hours longer than we were quoted, which I would be okay with if it made sense- but they spent a lot of time standing around talking, and were incredibly slow. Imagine carrying in small baskets for a shelving unit one by one- this is what they were doing. We were charged $1000 more than expected.

Just did a long distance move with them. Suzanne the estimator came and I told her we needed two trucks as we had moved one year previously and needed two, she documents thousands of pounds less than we actually had and only sent one truck. We would have been completely screwed as this Is a long distance move if another crew wasn’t able to come after they finished a move nearby. Once the second truck arrived hours later they were able to get the job done.

We used Minute Man for 2 moves, one for my late mother’s items to our new home and the local move to our new home. Scott was very professional, personable and accommodating dropping off boxes. Unfortunately that’s were the service ended. On the day of moving my late Mother’s items the crew was very late arriving and there was NO ONE to call to get an ETA while we got flack from the seniors complex. Our move was worse.
Horrific service, padding of hours, and poorly prepared items for move. We used this company for an international move from Nanaimo on Vancouver Island to Seattle Washington. There were two stages to the move the first had them packing up our stuff and moving it to our garage to await the international pickup and move. In that first part of the move they misrepresented the hours that they had worked which would have been a few hundred dollars in extra costs.

The staff is awesome Denis,Tiekan ,Nadina and the dispatcher Bobby. But, I would not use this moving company again. My quote was 1413.48 for moving. Less Items were moved from the original quote and for 18 items( no appliances) moved altogether it cost me over $1900.00.Way too expensive for what was moved. I do not recommend this company

Not the company you want to hire. Movers had a good attitude but they were slow. We ended up paying 4 hours overtime. The movers broke my closet door when moving the mattress and when I reported it, the company refused to fix it. They also …

Thank you so much Minute Men Moving & Storage, Joseph and Soren Tieken, for your hard work today helping us move our house. They followed company standards meticulously, packing each piece of furniture carefully, even though I asked them to relax the standards a bit, they remained diligent. The disassembly and assembly of the furniture was handled with care; not only was there no damage, but they even fixed some items for me.
Suzanne came in and quoted, arranged a date and time for truck and crew to arrive for the move out. The morning of the date promised, the crew and truck arrived when scheduled. The crew, Jamie, Joe and Natalie put down floor runners before doing anything else and then did an awesome job of padding and packing and loading the truck. Our experience with Minute Men Moving was great. They contacted us prior to our move to confirm that we were set to go. The movers arrived on time, layed out mats and wrapped all of the furniture. MacKenzie and Kurt were super helpful. They were fast but took the time to check in with us to make sure that our needs were being met. A very positive experience. Would highly recommend.

Amazing is an understatement! Natalie, Teagan, Mackenzie (and unfortunately I didn’t get the last gentleman’s name) were absolutely incredible. Our move took 2 days, they worked tirelessly, efficiently and were so kind and respectful. I cannot praise them enough, I will be recommending minute men and that crew to anyone and everyone!
