I went with this company bc they had decent review, but buyer beware. I wasn’t happy with the process. It all felt very rushed and I would have preferred at least a quick quality inspection jointly prior to the piano being whisked off very quickly without any protection, down the ramp and wobbling on the dollie on my sidewalk… I am no piano moving expert, but I felt like there should have been some measures to protect the piano…and if not “because they need hands on it” - per the man Patrick O spoke to in follow…
Do not attempt to schedule a move with these people. They moved the delivery time on us the day before the move, then moved it two more times THE DAY OF THE MOVE. They gave us less than an hour's notice that they would arrive 45 minutes …
I used them 2 years ago and they moved my upright with 2 guys, no problems. The guys wrapped it in moving blankets with straps to keep it protected. I used them last fall again to move the same piano. This time there were 4 guys …

Pat and the two gentlemen assisting him just moved my Steinway B from the Steinway showroom in NYC to my new home in Morgantown, WV. Pat and his crew were extremely professional and efficient (and exquisitely careful!) while moving the piano in and getting it set up. Pat and the men were also very patient with me as I struggled to decide on where to place the piano in its room.
Highly recommend! MMS went above and beyond to move my piano from upstate NY to their NJ warehouse on a short timeline. It may seem like just another job, but without them, I would have been forced to sell my beloved piano given to me by my late grandmother. Now, my piano is safely in storage, waiting until we have more space to play it again. I am so grateful to MMS. And they made piano moving easy! They were so easy to communicate with, reasonably priced, and showed up on time. Thank you again!
Pat and crew were fantastic, they had to deal with a narrow area but took their time, were extremely cautious and communicated great. They took great care making sure the piano was kept safe as well. All around great experience, highly recommend.
