Sold my house in Columbia, SC to move to the Charlotte, NC area. We were never selling to move to another place in Columbia we were always moving to the Charlotte area. I requested a quote for 2 mobile attics in which they were delivered and picked up. NOW that its time to deliver the mobile attics to my new address mobile attic all of a sudden does not have any record of my move request from Columbia to Charlotte and so the delivery rates have now jumped significantly and I am held hostage as they have all my…

Mobile Attic (Columbia, SC) rented out a leaky storage unit and company stated it was not responsible for damages caused by rain water that entered from that top of the unit. Two boxes of items were damaged. It also takes 7+ days to reserve an appointment to move your rented unit--which they will not tell you before you sign the contract. Very poor customer service! Try Pods instead.
We apologize and are sorry for any inconvenience you may have had. We take great pride in the quality of our containers and our staff works very, very hard to make sure that our containers are in the BEST possible condition.
Only giving one Star because please be aware that once you use a card on there online systems it automatically put you into auto pay which I think should be illegal since that's not a choice I opted for. I split payment with someone and they put his card on auto pay however he is not on the account paperwork anything and they auto took money out of this his account. Last month I paid and I purposely did not highlight auto pay but yet here we are they auto draft anyway. No consent nothing! Please be aware!

The guy for customer service have no personality for customer service. Tricky and dishonest. Charged my credit card a extra month because the day I was told pick up was coming, No one showed up. Will not do business with them again.

You have to fill out personal information online to get a quote. Very expensive! Got emails and phone calls because I didn't want to use this service. It's for folks with lots of money to waste.
Jacki, I’m sorry our pricing didn’t fit in your budget. We offer the lowest prices in portable self storage in South Carolina but I understand our services may not be affordable for everyone. We do however offer a lowest price guarantee.

The storage unit was delivered promptly, correctly oriented (with the loading door in the correct direction), and carefully - we have two pillars on either side of the driveway and neither was in any danger of being rolled over as has happened in years passed. The driver was quite courteous and the container was clean, intact, and odor-free. After about three weeks of storage, we emptied the container out and called for pickup; they hauled it away the same day. Overall it was a quite pleasant experience.
