LATE, OVERPRICED, INEFFICIENT, UNFRIENDLY and will raise your price for meticulous accounting of inventory. This was the worse moving experience I've ever had. They showed up 40 minutes late after trying to show up an hour early in order to make it to other jobs. Finally upon the job they took three times as long as the prior moving company I hired .

Not the best.. First off, they used a 3rd party company for my large move. They arrived in rented trucks (Penske), and a lot of my furniture was damaged, missing pieces, cigarette butts left on driveway, ect. There were some nice guys on the crew, but, Very Sloppy. Might be better for smaller jobs.
If you’re looking to have a piano moved LOOK ELSEWHERE! No moving blankets or protection for 14 hour move. I was already nervous about having my great great grandmother’s pristine chickering piano moved from Monterey to Idaho. I was assured I found the right place and not to worry. I was wrong and should have went to with my gut instinct. I had a piano, 1970s jukebox and some smaller items moved. Cost was 6k. That was a discount.
My experience was quite negative. When I got a quote, it seemed to be a moving target. The priced changed from day to day. They were also more expensive than the competition. But what is creepy is that, although it's been years since I got a quote from them, they suddenly started sending me automated marketing emails when I searched for moving companies in the United Kingdom. They've been tracking me and it needs to stop.

Called them to clean up a store after construction. Marlene said they were licensed and bonded. She sent someone immediately. The person she sent said they couldn't clean windows or polish the floors because they weren't allowed to use chemicals. I had no idea you need a special license to use Windex.

Would definitely recommend. Jesse and Marlene were polite and very easy to work with while assisting us with the reservation and the details of the move. They were even able to move the date forward one day when a last minute scheduling conflict arose on our end, without any complaint on their end. Michael and Junior were our movers and did an excellent job. They were extremely careful with our possessions and attentive to any concerns we had.

Michael H and Michael S, better known as “The Mikes”, have seriously raised the bar for other professional movers. They were polite, courteous, efficient, and made an impossibly large couch fit in a very tight staircase. I swear they bent the laws of physics. But the entire team at Mod Movers was excellent from booking the job on short notice to closing out. As a real estate professional, I would highly recommend Mod Movers to all of my clients.
