no concern for my damaged parts of the house which they caused. would not fix anything since i was moved out of the house and told me if the new owners want it fixed they can call. showed up late, supposed to arrive at 9am, got to the house at 9:41am. 3 out of 4 guys stood around most of the time talking to each other. took them 10 hours to move me and said they did me a favor by working on Sunday and not charging overtime. very disrespectful to me when i called and attempted to resolve my issues.
Moscardelli quoted us for a local move. The date was changed at the last minute and they did work us in. We sold our house and had to be out on a certain date and time. The lead of the moving crew was upset that he was working on a day off and let it be known. One man on the team had no experience. He didn't even know which way the dolly was suppose to go out the door. Our washer and dryer were precariously lifted I to the truck. The lift on the truck was broken and missing.
I hired them for a move in 2007 and the two guys they sent did an excellent job. So, I hired them for my next move in 2017 and had the worst moving experience ever. The two guys arrived late, then told me our stuff wasn't going to fit in the U-Haul I rented (it did). They tracked mud all over a white area rug without giving me a chance to roll it up. Then they overcharged me! I guess there's a new owner now, well he needs to hire better employees.
Had to kick the movers off the property for damaging furniture and a Newell post. They also somehow managed to cut the cable to the house, so now we are without internet. When the damage was pointed out and they were told to be careful my husband was told he "Had a smart mouth." I've never seen such unprofessional behavior. Would leave 0 stars if I could.
BUYER BEWARE: If you can do not use Moscardelli Movers, 709 N. Lincoln Ave., Springfield, Illinois. I used them for a recent move (2021) and they damaged my furniture. They dirtied my box spring, broke a handle on my drawer, and broke the leg off of my dining room table. Due to their insurance the owner wanted to only give me $30.00. NEVER AGAIN…

Our experience with Moscardelli was great! We had a lot of furniture to be moved, and we thought it would take a full day, but they got the job done in just a few hours. They were quick, efficient, and careful with our belongings; nothing was damaged. The movers were polite, funny, and easy to work with. I highly recommend them and would hire them again!
Couldn’t be more pleased. Office staff was very helpful, and Jim, the owner returned calls promptly and coordinated the process. We were in a time crunch and able to get help moving some unique and very heavy items that had to be moved quickly from an auction site. Seth and Tommy provided the skills to get the job done quickly. Everyone was extremely pleasant and efficient.
Greg and Seth did a great job with a difficult move of a very heavy load and never so much as bumped or scuffed any walls or flooring. Hard workers!
Dakota & Jushad did a great job! Professional, polite, and treated our belongings with care. I would recommend these guys for your moving needs.
