The rating breakdown
3 of the 24 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for Move Central Movers and Storage are one or two star.
Worked out from 24 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.
Against other listings in Escondido
8.5 percentage points higher than the middle of the 14 listings in Escondido we can publish a rate for.

In their own words
Absolutely the Worst movers ever. They moved our stuff to storage then from storage to a large building on our new property. I am finally unpacking and I can’t tell you how many things are broken. Not only that but they forgot all of my patio furniture on the day of moving from sold home to storage so my brother and I had to take a truck and go get it all. I have things missing and so so much broken. Missing a few very expensive items. I should have checked their truck before they left.
PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT USE! I have never written a review before, but this company is scamming people and it needs to be heard. Their "estimate" they give you is severely inaccurate, they were 50% low due to hidden fees they do not mention during the sales call. Their fine print does not give you details on the hidden fees, there is no way to figure it out until they are charging you after your move. The laborers that helped move advised that they deal with this with almost every customer.
If I could give negative stars I would. This was the worst and most expensive moving company I have ever experienced. First, they left their trash (soda and energy drink cans all over) and did not bother to clean up or take it with them. Second, they decided to leave all the hangers and a full box of clothing completely unmoved from the closet with a single shirt hanging up, as if that didn’t need to get moved too.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

Just used Move Central Movers for our big move, and they were amazing! 🚛✨ The team was super professional, careful with our furniture, and super fast. They even helped us pack some fragile items. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a stress-free move! 🙌 …
Shoutout to this team for making our office relocation a breeze! 🌟 They showed up on time, had all the packing supplies we needed, and even disassembled and reassembled our furniture without a hitch. The moving trucks were clean and spacious too. So glad we chose them! …
We recently moved from Chula Vista with Move Central Movers and Storage, and our experience was exceptional. Oscar and Gregorio were Quick and efficient, handling all the heavy lifting with ease. Our luggage was treated with utmost care, ensuring everything arrived in perfect condition. We had a slight concern about the transparency of the pricing initially, but the team was very upfront about all the costs involved, leaving no room for surprises.
Juan and Robert's ability to assess, remove, and organize the removal of 17 years of banker boxes, 3-ring binders and miscellaneous obsolete company inventory resulted in our company successfully preparing for a downsized office move in December. MC will be circling back to Move Central Movers to serve as office desk and furniture movers, for the service collectively delivered by Mario, Jay, Juan and Robert was outstanding! I highly recommend Move Central Movers.
