In their own words
American Movers Direct was the worse customer service and experience I have ever had. The truck was days late to get to Cleveland, OH and terrible communication, at one point I was told the truck was in Pennsylvania and stuck in the snow. There has not been snow for weeks and then about 2 hours late I was told the truck is in Nebraska. The truck had a 2 day window and did not make that timing. The next morning I got a call saying that the truck was stuck in the rain in Michigan. This overall process was horrible!
This is the wrong company. We are NOT American Movers Direct. We are Movers Direct out of Trenton, GA. Please remove this review from our page and place it under "American Movers Direct" We work very hard to please our customers. We have a 4.8 star rating.

I’m so glad I chose Movers Direct—again! This was my second time using them, and once again, they delivered top-notch service. Moving companies can sometimes feel like a gamble, but Movers Direct is the real deal: professional, trustworthy, and first class. Christy, the office coordinator, was incredibly helpful and kind. She managed to fit me in on short notice when I needed a few hours of help to load a storage pod outside my home. Her communication was clear and thoughtful from start to finish.

We moved this past weekend and had Movers Direct handle our move. We had heard horror stories about past moves from friends and family using OTHER moving companies so I was stressed out on moving day. The movers from Movers Direct showed up right on time. 2 guys and a young lady. We didn't have a tremendous amount of stuff from our old place but we had quite a bit in our storage unit. These 3 young people were SO nice and friendly and VERY efficient.

My family was lucky enough to be referred to Movers Direct by a friend who had used their services for an interstate move. From booking and communication to the move itself-- everyone we interacted with was a consummate professional. We moved from Boston to Washington D.C. We worked with James, Andrew, and Eli who were friendly, efficient, and capable. They were all detail oriented and clearly tried to make the experience as smooth as they could.
