I made appointment to have my tv installed on wall setup for Friday after Christmas he never showed up that texted me to say never installed tv over fireplace I am the customer so why I am being told this never know why he states has to look at it first so delay #1 have not ward from him since texted him today he says I am out of town til Monday maybe can do it Tuesday than claims he’s tried to call me Saturday last minute to see if anyone available I have no message from him this lets me know never wanted to do…
I spoke with this client and he told he would call me the next day to reschedule and he never called. He texted me today and asked about a appointment for Friday. I told him he never called. I asked him did he call another company and he never responded. Have a great New Years
Disappointing Experience — Significant Issues With the Move Our experience with this moving company was disappointing, particularly given the cost of the move and the expectations we had going in. First, one of our pieces of furniture was damaged during the move. We documented the damage and promptly provided the information to a representative of the company. That was more than a month ago, and we still have not received any meaningful follow-up about arranging a repair or otherwise resolving the issue.
Thieves. Stole thousands in jewelry and will not return a phone call about rectifying the situation. Do not do business with these thieves.
I’m sorry that you feel that one of my guys have stolen items from you. We take our employment process very seriously which is why in the 10 Years we have been in business this is the first time someone has said we have stolen something from someone’s house.
I would not recommend this moving company to anyone!! A friend of mine recently used G&G Moving to move from a townhome in Avondale to a townhome in Pike Creek. She moved a lot of the items herself to save on the quoted hours. Even so, the final price was $200 higher than quoted and she had to tell the movers not to take as long on their breaks because they were taking their time and not working hard. The even bigger issue is that the moving company truck damaged her SUV that was parked next to it when they left.
G&G Moving was contracted to move my furniture in November from New Jersey to Delaware. A wood bookcase and sofa were visibly damaged while moving them into my new home. Since I was told by the movers that the sofa would not fit up the stairs so I went to Flannigan’s to purchase a new sofa and shared what had happened. Flannigan’s told me they would have no trouble fitting that size sofa up the townhouse stairs.
I was incredibly disappointed in the move experience. While the day started positive, with them being on time and being polite, I can't say much else positive. I paid for my mattresses to be wrapped and they were not. This ruined my mattresses as it was raining and there are now greasy black marks all over my new mattresses. They also lost the hardware to one of the beds and mirrors, and therefore could not put them back together.
Do not do business with G&G Moving in DE. Horrible service. Lazy workers. Packed pods so poorly that they were only half full requiring additional pods to be delivered. Lazy workers sat in the truck for half the day and charged me for the time. AVOID this company. I hired this company to pack 3 pods. 4 movers for $205/hour was estimated 5 hours to pack 3 pods. I only needed 2 pods since I do not have a lot of furniture but I rented an extra just in case they did not do a good job of packing.
We have very mixed feelings about our moving experience with G&G Moving. I would like to start with the positives: Our two moving teams (led by DJ) were excellent and we were very pleased with their handling of our belongings. They were very careful to not hit walls and worked tirelessly all day long. Through it all, they were polite, kept us informed, and engaged my young sons in fun ways that kept their mind off the stress of moving that children can experience.

G & G Moving is simply the best! I've used them for five moves in four years and have recommended them to numerous friends. Most of these jobs involved moving a 1-bedroom's worth of furniture into and out of a storage unit. Vernon and his team of employees worked efficiently and carefully each time, with clear communication and calm and friendly demeanors. As a result, my furniture (mostly from Ikea, so not the sturdiest stuff around) has made it out of each move with not so much as a scratch on it.

I moved my 2000sqft household items over 1000miles. The in home estimate was scheduled promptly and I was quoted a very fair price compared to other moving services. G&G was able to pick up and deliver my items within the short 2-3 day window I required. The movers arrived on time to load and delivery and set up into my new home was effortless and on the day expected.

G & G Moving did a fantastic job with our move! Their crew was friendly and professional and handled our belongings with care. Vernon and Jessica were delightful to work with and were available to answer questions every step of the way. I have a piece of furniture that required special handling along with our large flat screen TVs. Vernon packaged the TVs perfectly and personally made sure that my sideboard made it to our new home with no damage. G & G Moving made our move as enjoyable an experience as possible.
