MR. MOVING LLC

I used Mr Mover one year ago. They were quick to call, quick to get me an appointment for the next day( my other company just never showed up). I was very grateful. However, they broke a dresser drawer out of my Pier One glass dresser. They were quick to take it with them and comfort me by stating they would get it fixed and returned as soo. As possible at no charge. In fact the wife called me identified herself as Rachel and stated they would need a specialist to fox it.

This was the worst move (of many) of my life, with many items damaged or missing, including my piano (whose frame was completely cracked). The company at first refused to compensate me at all; I had to file a complaint with the regulatory board to get any kind of response from them. In the end, they paid for the piano but none of the other damage to furniture and art or missing items. It was truly traumatic.

I changed my rating for this company Maurio really disappointed me in his overall business when it comes to packing residences household stuff 😤 I have a outdoor kitchen that was included in the packing. When initially of a walkthrough there was nothing discussion that he would have a problem with anything that I showed him. The issue became when it came to the outdoor kitchen. First he instantly got an attitude about not able to move it off the bricks onto the grass. My yard was wet due to the rain.

I have used movers now for 5+ moves, and MR Moving LLC is by far the worst. I expected for them to take their time due to paying by the hour, but their policy is only one mover brings in items at a time. The same move from Harrisonburg to Richmond (2.5 hour commute because of an accident) took only an hour longer than this move less than a mile.

Money hungry moving company. The husband Mario is very aggressive and rude. This man has serious anger issues, I never want to encounter a human being like him again. Their movers will try to run up your time, by taking forever because you’re being billed by the hour. Save your money and go somewhere more reputable. If you read the honest reviews other ppl have had similar experiences. Since I can't reply to the passive aggressive response under my review here is my edit.

I used this company to consolidate my storage units into 1 storage unit. They Showed up the morning of the job with a little truck after the dispatcher and myself decided a bigger truck would be better the day before. So they had to swap out trucks. They tried charging for that first hour during the swap until I mentioned it. They had a good system going but I noticed that they were putting the boxes to high in the the storage, one of the guys even mentioned it to his coworker but they just continued..

They are not transparent about the pricing and charged exorbitant fees for there “drive time, “ without quoting it. I live in the Richmond area so not far from their office. My actual move did not include any driving, as I was moving right across the street. I was charged $155 for the them to come to and from my apartment for a round trip of less than 20 miles. Again without letting me know there would be a fee. Had a known about the fee I would have looked elsewhere but trusted them bc of all their reviews.

The owner of this establishment is extremely unprofessional. Mover came to provide service and walked off on the job after obtaining a $100 security deposit. Not only were the riders confused and in need of clarification. Once clarified, the movers left the property, not having moved ANY items, then came back very disgruntled and still remained was of no help. The mover then departed with no explanation and refused to offer service based off personal reception of tone.
