I am so devastatingly disappointed. Murphy movers came highly recommended, as I had terrible experiences, lost items and theft with other moving companies. I chose to ship my most important items with Murphy Moving because this was the most involved l move I have ever undertaken. I used PODS for the less important items and my kitchen items were saved for Murphy Moving/Mayflower. Many of my most important items never arrived at all! These items were the last to be loaded and were moved by their people.

I contacted Murphy Movers to take my belongings from my home, put everything into storage for approximately 10 months and then once my house was built, move me into my new home. First, I was given one estimate but because my move was delayed, I had to have another estimate done, which of course was more expensive, despite the fact that the quantity of my belongings hadn't changed. They came to pack everything into the truck and they appeared to be very thorough.

We recently moved from CT to SC- I was so nervous about having a bad experience- mostly concerned about hidden charges after speaking with several “discounted” movers. Then I spoke with Greg and he walked me through everything- did a FaceTime to confirm what I was shipping- gave me a price and stuck to it!!! He really put my mind at ease- and then when they came- the drivers were courteous, efficient, neat and so helpful.

The prospect of moving 27 years of living to a new home was a terrifying thought but our experience with the team at Murphy brothers couldn't have made this emotional and physical ordeal any easier. From packing our belongs to transport and unloading Muphy's team had it all covered. They handled everything, fine china, a wine cellar, 2 large safes, and even a pizza oven. Of course furniture, kitchen, and clothing as well. All packed and protected - everything arrived safely.

Murphy’s Moving provided a fantastic experience for us. The crew showed up on time. They were professional, courteous, and ready to work. We were initially told the packing would take one day and loading would take the next. We asked if it could be accelerated so we could get on the road a little early. The team more than accommodated that! We ended up leaving early the next morning, about 8 hours ahead of what we had initially planned. The Murphy crew made that possible through their hard work an efficiency.
