DO NOT TRUST YOUR FURNITURE WITH "My 3 Sons Moving" Not only might it be damaged from mishandling, but they will NOT make it right. I wish I had seen the yelp reviews as they are extremely similar to what happened to me. Adding this review on Googe since that is where I looked and this type of feedback was missing. I will have to say that was one of the roughest moves ever. Wildcat did our last move, brought two trucks and not one item was broken or scuffed.
We booked My 3 Sons to load our moving truck because they claimed to have experience moving pianos. I specifically requested a team of 3 and informed them of the need to load a piano. But the day of the move, only 2 showed up, and they said no 3-person teams were scheduled that day. I insisted they find a third person, so they did. They had not brought any loading equipment at all, despite knowing they needed to move a piano, so they borrowed a hand truck I had rented.
DECEPTIVE PRICING, DAMAGED PROPERTY, UNETHICAL CONDUCT!!! 3 Sons Moving uses misleading pricing practices. They quote a low rate for two movers, then arrive with extra workers and raise the cost without clear approval. The contract language is vague and appears designed to justify surprise charges after the fact. I was overcharged $174.90, and the company brushed it off instead of fixing it. That is unauthorized billing, plain and simple.
Idaho, You and your landlord left us over 30 negative reviews on multiple platforms. We offered to pay the estimate for the door. You wanted us to wire money overseas. We explained that we would have to have you sign a release of funds for the settlement which you refused to do.
The My three son movers broke the glass door on our brand new GE stove. Had asked for 2 movers they sent 3. One young man was obviously training. We paid for 3 movers that we did not ask for one whom had to ask or answer questions on our dime. Took forever for them to do anything at all. Owner swore he would replace the glass on door. He did absolutely nothing. When we call manager or owner refuses to take our call. Secretary refuses to put them on the phone. Untrustworthy. Would never use them again.

I had a very disappointing experience with this moving company and would not recommend them. I hired them for a move from Lexington to Edgewood and was originally quoted around $2,000. Before the move, I provided the company with a complete list of the items that needed to be moved, and everything was clearly labeled by room. Because they had all of this information ahead of time, I expected the quote to be reasonably accurate. Instead, the final cost ended up being close to $5,000.

On December 1st, 2025, My 3 Sons Moving was contracted to move furniture out of one of my properties. During the move, one of their workers used a bungee cord strap to hold the storm door open, pulling it well beyond its normal position. This caused the door frame to break when they forced the door. I obtained two separate repair estimates—both came to approximately $600—to fix the damaged front door frame. My 3 Sons Moving only offered $75 toward the repair.

You are at their mercy. My quote was changed on me 3 times in the same day of delivery due to their employees taking the time they insisted was the only way to disassemble. I was not even able to pay for reassembly due to the original quote …
Drew, I understand your concern regarding the final cost of the move. After reviewing the job, the increase came down to the scope of work being greater than originally estimated. There were approximately 150 additional items added to the move beyond what was originally quoted.

I have used My 3 Sons Moving several times, and every experience has been excellent! Rachel and Anna were incredibly professional, friendly, and very helpful throughout the entire process. They made scheduling and communication easy and stress-free. The moving crews have always been great. During my most recent move, I worked with Jame, Sam, and Adam (I believe they mentioned they are part of the Richmond crew). They were hardworking, efficient, and handled everything with care.

Second time using My 3 Sons and I was not disappointed. Bryce and Mario were prompt, polite, and FAST. We were changing storage units from one location to another and they had us packed up, moved, and unloaded in 2 hours. My 3 Sons was by far the best moving company Ive ever worked with. Professional, very fast response from front end, and professional, friendly and fast service from the movers! I highly recommend you choose this company. I also got quotes from 4 others in Lexington, Ky, including Wildcat and 2 men and truck, and this was the least expensive option. I have used others including 2 men in the past and was not very impressed.
