In their own words
0/10 – Will Never Recommend Wildcat sent a team to move an antique baby grand piano between homes, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. One mover carried the pedal chamber to the truck and somehow lost 2 out of the 3 pedal rods (which are essential to the function of the piano). Thankfully, a contractor working at the house found them scattered across the front yard after I called to check. While reassembling the piano inside my home, the crew broke one of the legs.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely regret that your piano was damaged during the move. While our crews take great care in handling every item entrusted to us, accidents can unfortunately occur, and we understand how disappointing this situation was.
I was disappointed in the communication between the office and myself as the customer . I was given a window of time from 11-4. I initiated a phone call at 12 to check my status and was told the movers we're wrapping up a move and would get to me soon. When 3pm struck with still no movers, I called again and was told my team was driving in from Louisville (which would have been nice to know) . My team called me around 3:45 to advise they were gassing the vehicle and would be to me shortly.
This company and these particular movers were the worst if 0 stars was an option it would definitely be selected for this poor service. Also, when choosing this company for your moving purposes "Beware of the 3rd man"(The oxygen thief), he'll be standing around and you're paying for it (on video). Moving one to two items from the truck at a time, to the point of me interjecting about this with some to no activity & never once did they consider using the dolly they had or the provided carts at the storage unit.
I wish I could give Wildcat Movers zero stars, as they don't even deserve one star. I paid Wildcat Movers (which I prefer to refer to as BIG BLUE SCAMMERS) to move my daughter’s furniture for a two-bedroom apartment approximately three miles from where she was living. Before hiring Wildcat Movers, my daughter was given a quote ranging from $500 to $700. After the move was completed, they gave her a bill for $1,315, TWICE the original estimate.
Tim, At the time of this response, less than 24 hours has passed since the move was completed. As we mentioned in our email to you this morning: While all our estimates are simply based on the square footage of the home being moved in tandem with industry averages, our guarantee is that we will…
It seemed to start out well enough from my initial call to inquire about pricing. Told them exactly what I had to move and they said it would all fit on the truck. Called back a week later to verify and all seemed good to go. Moving day comes and as they're loading I'm informed that it probably won't all fit. So in between one of the movers telling me how he relies on tips and makes very little I show them priority boxes to take. After they load up and come to my new house I asked to be mindful of the walls.
I was pretty surprised by how Wildcat Moving operated. We had an 11:00 - 4:00 time slot. When they hadn't shown up by 11:20, I called them. It wasn't until then that they gave me a little tidbit that they hadn't before. The 11- 4 time slot is when they could POSSIBLY show up! Not, "we'll be there by 11 and hopefully have you moved by 4", as it would seem. So...we wait from 11:00 a.m. and the movers, Matthew M and Jack G, finally show up at 5:00 p.m.
Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry the timing of your move led to a frustrating experience. We do want to clarify a few points regarding scheduling and communication. At the time of booking, the 11:00 AM–4:00 PM window was explained as an arrival window, not a guaranteed start time.
Edited: Unfortunately I returned to the house the Monday morning after the move (Saturday evening) to find the crew had not turned the water all the way off from the washing machine they disconnected causing the water to run at a solid trickle for almost 2 days! This flooded the laundry and and the kitchen causing the floor to have to be pulled up and replaced and the drywall on both sides of the wall to be replaced after drying out.
Thanks, David! We're thrilled to hear that you had an excellent moving experience with Wildcat. If you find the time we'd truly appreciate a review on Angie's List, Facebook or the BBB. The movers get bonuses for good reviews!
Be extremely cautious with this company. They promise no hidden fees, but there were many additional charges that nearly doubled the cost of our services. We hired them for labor only to unload a POD and were charged for full moving services including the use of a 26 foot truck (which we did not use) and a $50 moving fee (again, we just had unloading, no moving services.) This company was exorbitantly expensive for the Kentucky market.
Hi Alli, thanks for choosing Wildcat Moving to unload your POD on Sunday. Your patronage is truly appreciated. We apologize for the confusion during the booking phase. Looking at your appointment it appears you scheduled the service online through our website.

My husband and I have used Wildcat moving several times and each time it’s been a great experience. Most recently, I reached out on a Monday and they were able to schedule me movers for Friday afternoon. The booking process was easy and the team was responsive. The movers, Cole and J.R., let me know when they were coming, arrived on time, were friendly, and loaded the truck quickly and carefully. They also were super flexible and kind when a Facebook marketplace place sale fell through and there was an additional…
Thanks for letting us know how we did, Alexandra! We stay flexible and try to accommodate most any reasonable request our clients throw at us. Sorry to hear about the sale falling through, but glad to know it didn't deter the crew from doing a good job otherwise!
Wildcat moving is the only company we use for moving. We have used them several times and they’ve been wonderful. My husband and I recently moved and Adrian and Dillon made it such a smooth transition for us moving from Nicholasville to Mount Washington. We had a tight stair case with some large furniture and they made it look so easy. Incredibly reasonable pricing and they’re quick, professional and were great guys to work with. If you’re debating between moving companies, please use Wildcat.
ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM WILDCAT MOVING! From my first calls to inquire about loading our U-Haul truck for an out of state move I spoke to Drew and Hunter. Both were just so helpful and so nice and were willing to make sure we were able to have movers on the dates and times needed. On the date I requested, Amer and Austin B. called before arriving, they arrived on time and were ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT! They represented Wildcat Moving in the highest professional way!
Marie, wow! Thank you for such a stellar review. We strive for each of our clients to have a seamless experience from the moment you call our office to the moment that last piece of furniture is loaded up. We're so happy to hear that everything was excellent!
I hired Wildcat Movers to move my family from Southeastern KY to Central KY. They were very responsive to my questions and up front about cost and pricing. I appreciated that they gave me some guidance on what I needed when I wasn’t sure. We had a 26’ truck on two separate days to get all my stuff. Day of I got a text from the driver that they were on the way and an ETA. They were on time and got going no problem.
We can't tell you enough how much this review means to us, Les! It highlights exactly what we're all about: knowledgeable crews, great communication, excellent care with your belongings, and staff who anticipate your needs so moving day doesn't catch you by surprise.
