The rating breakdown
4 of the 36 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for My Guys Moving & Storage are one or two star.
Worked out from 36 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.

In their own words
Beware! Not too pleased with billing and customer service practices at My Guys and even the move had hiccups. Relatively straighforward pickup of a small piano in Winchester and delivery to our cabin about 25 miles away. Was quoted $567 by Daniel which beat Flat Rate Movers quote of $600. Should have gone with the flat rate. Movers pick up piano from seller's rep in Winchester and then realize after they've left that they forgot the piano bench.
I looked for a moving company in my town, Winchester VA. They told me they would charge me around $165 an hour. They worked 3 hours and they took $742.50 from my card. When I called back they told me there was an extra fee of $247 for travelling "over 50 miles". I told them I looked them up online and got their phone number and address from their own website, which states THEY ARE IN WINCHESTER VA (pic attached), 5.1 MILES FROM MY HOME. They refused to return me the "travelling fee". I will never hire them again
Eduardo, the trip charge is a standard fee that gets the movers to your origin and back to the dispatch location. This should not have been a surprise since you have moved with us before. We have offices throughout the DMV. The Winchester … More
The movers themselves were great considering the heat and the heavy lifting. There were definitely labeled boxes that said what rooms they went in that got placed in completely wrong rooms. Our only true disappointment was that we were …

In their own words
The moving crew from My Guys Moving & Storage were outstanding. I have used two other larger moving companies in the past but these were by far the most helpful of moving crews. My Guys was also the best value of the five moving companies I had asked for a quote. They arrived on time and worked hard for the entire 12 hours it took to move my belongings to my new house. They protected the new carpets at the house and I ended up with a move that looked like they were never even there. No dings anywhere.
Hi Donald! Thank you for taking the time to share your satisfaction with the crew and the service they provided. I will make sure that your kind words are passed on to your "Guys". Enjoy your spotless new home and we're happy to help if you need anything else. :)
The guys from the Sterling office were great. They were quick and professional. Every item was treated with respect. Our boxspring almost wouldn't fit up the stairs but they made it fit after asking us if it was ok because they could have potentially damaged the walls to get it up. There was barely a scratch! Also, when the top of our pedestal table (which had issues already) fell off the pedestal, they fixed it for us! And this is all while doing so as quietly as possible because our baby was sleeping nearby.
Hi Andrew & Alanna! What a glowing review of your crew and overall experience! We are happy to have gone above and beyond to leave both your home and little one undisturbed. We will definitely add this review to our office wall of fame so the guys who helped you can read your compliments. :)
The moving crew was FANTASTIC!! Best movers that I have ever seen. They were very patient and took great care of all our furniture and items. Very polite and very professional. Went above and beyond in making sure our house flooring were not impacted! Overall a great experience!! A huge thanks to the team and I’m going to recommend them to my friends for their future move.
Thank you Raghavendra for taking the time to share your feedback of your excellent experience with My Guys! We will make sure to relay your comment to the crew that completed your move.
The team did a great job. They were punctual, polite, professional, and so very helpful. My garage was FULL and I wasn’t able to get to packing it. They jumped right in and got it done in no time. Such a relief! I truly value and appreciate all their hard work. Worth every penny, which was reasonable.
