Since you badgered me four times for a review, here you are. I was not p-leased with my overall experience. I rented 3 of your 10x20 units while building a house in Leelanau County. Your on site staff John was basically easy to work with. However when one of the locks you supplied with a unit broke, I was told that was my problem. After conversation, John eventually fixed it. What really upset me was your increasing my rates by 50% (about $550/month) after a few months. How unethical.

Once National Storage bought our local storage company they closed the local office and raised our rates immediately 17% in an environment where the inflation rate is a third of that; no justification. You would think that consolidating …

Empire Self Storage has been a great help with my storage needs! A very friendly staff welcomed us right away, and helped us find the right storage unit to fit our needs and our budget. We walked in overwhelmed and not sure if this would work for us, but when we left, a weight was lifted off our shoulders and we could continue on with our moving process without any hassel. I got a simple 5x10 storage unit, I will always go to empire self storage as long as im in Traverse City.
