Extremely unprofessional. I simply asked why he was charging an “elevator fee” when he was already charging me an hourly fee. If the elevator takes a little more time it’s on me. He followed up with “if you’re looking for cheap service, we’re not for you” I find this extremely rude and unprofessional. I’d be aware of extra charges this guy may try to get out of ya!
Jared we understand that your upset at us for letting you go but just because we had to terminate you you doesn’t mean you should give us a 1 star review.
I’ve used this company three times in the past without any issues, which is the only reason I felt comfortable recommending them to a family member. That trust was completely misplaced. The movers never showed up, and repeated calls went unanswered. No explanation, no apology, nothing. There was a complete lack of professionalism and basic communication. This was shocking coming from a company I once spoke highly of. I will no longer recommend this company or hire them myself.

This not a good move for us. They under estimated the move and couldn't complete the job. Crew was polite but I had to hire another mover to complete the work and repair damages myself I gave them the opportunity to make it right to no avail.
I scheduled a move with this company for Sunday, May 24th. I was given a confirmed arrival window of 9:00–10:00 AM. On Saturday, May 23rd at approximately 3:22 PM the day before my move, I received a text message saying they had to cancel because “two guys walked out.” This is completely unacceptable. I specifically chose this company because they advertise themselves as family-run. If that’s the case, where was the backup or the rest of the family? Running a business requires contingency planning.
Worst company to have !! This company has a complete disregard for your belongings ! I had the power button on my TV break off while the OWNER was helping his guy move and he flat out told me he is not responsible. The owner and his guys smoke on the job and expect tips! Unreliable and not responsible! WARNING DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!! You have been warned !!! WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER

I contacted this business and after receiving a quote dakota asked when id like to schedule I told him I’m still shopping quotes which is a very normal thing to do when looking for a service. Dakota replied “ lol good luck try Craigslist” with a laughing emoji. Extremely unprofessional behavior for a business owner. Photo attached of the text coming from their business number.

We had an appointment to get an estimate. They never showed. They did not call or text to let us know they could not make it. Then when I called to find out what happened I was hung up on. Gave them the benefit of the doubt, perhaps the call dropped, so I called them back, but was hung up on again.
Hello you may have the wrong business. We don't hang up on our customers. We don't even have a Rhonda Tyler in our system for a walkthrough please double check the business that you were talking to and please don't give one star reviews to businesses like this as it hurts our family home business
Checking this business out for a quote and found that they're not licensed. The Department of Agriculture in Florida is in charge of Intrastate mover licensing, not sunbiz which was stated by the owner in a different review. SCAM!

We hired Neighborhood Movers on Monday 6/16/25 to unload our pods. The guys (Ramon, Justin, Sam & Jared) did a fantastic job !!! They were on time, polite, courteous, professional, hard working, and very careful in bringing in all the items. It was very easy scheduling with Dakota. He was very prompt on follow through with the entire unload process. We have them scheduled to unload another pod for us. I would recommend to anyone looking for movers that they are the only ones you should use.

I have NEVER been more happy to pay men to do anything than I was paying them to move all my heavy stuff!! Dakota, Matthew, and Sam were AMAZING! I had been looking for a mover for about a week when I ran across a Facebook ad for Neighborhood Mover. Clicked the link to get more info and was contacted within 48hrs. At that time I wasn’t sure if I was moving to a 1 story or 2 story house and Dakota gave me a price that would be for either.
