In their own words
The movers broke a lot of our belongings. They showed no respect when stacking containers and boxes, many were crushed. Items they wrapped in blankets were destroyed. Several things came up missing. They would not admit or attempt to compensate us at all. The driver had a helper who asked us for a tip and became aggressive with the storage unit manager. When reported, the manager of A-1 in Houston never responded.

This company was hired from the Air Force to help us move back in 2024. Our boxes have been sitting in storage until now, and I am distraught with how this company handled all of our personal belongings. I had packed everything myself. Everything was organized and labeled. They had to repack everything to their "standards," and it is an utter disaster. EVERYTHING was thrown into boxes. Silverware thrown on top of Christmas decorations, baby clothes mixed up with CHARCOAL starters.
Will never use these people again. I had many lost items include a knife collection, a ladder. A broke stationary bicycle, and many clothing boxes. Also a broke dresser which is worth a lot.

Everyone was so kind and careful with my belongings. I have had a horrible experience in the past so I wasn't sure what to expect. The guys came in and packed for me and loaded the truck the next day. If you've never had packers, it's well worth the money. The entire move was seamless. I will definitely use them again for my final move. I only wish I could give more than 5 stars!
Everyone associated with our move was efficient, helpful, and kind (to each other as well as us). Our driver, Freeman, was awesome! The office staff answered all our questions and kept in great contact with us. They followed up with us after the move. We highly recommend Lambert Transport! Thanks for a great move!

Moving is hard! Cross country moving is even harder. With all the moving scams, I was fearful that I would even get my furniture back! I read every review, got a dozen quotes. I decided on North American Van Lines and I was not disappointed. I paid a little more but the service was worth every penny. You can stop shopping movers and just call these guys.
