Awful awful experience with the local move. They broke boxes because of how aggressive they were with them (boxes were new from U-Haul), stole our Allen keys after putting together the dressers, didn’t follow any of the instructions for fragile written on the boxes (we’ve got multiple broken glasses because of it), and broke a bookshelf and coffee table (picture with missing table leg and broken bottom).

We used this company for our recent move. We just had the hardwood floors refinished in our new home and reminded the team on multiple occasions to please be careful with the floors. After they left we noticed two parallel skid marks starting in one upstairs bedroom, continuing into the hallway and then into another bedroom. One of these marks was in the shape of a tire track, clearly from a handtruck.

Did not show up for a scheduled appointment. When I called, the woman on the phone was extremely rude and made it clear they did not care. Avoid like the plague. Added: As a reply to their response below: they are well aware that Ginny called me AFTER I got off the phone with Allied and confirmed for the day that was scheduled. She did try to contact me four days later to reschedule. So, they are not being 100 percent transparent here. Also, it does not excuse how rude the other woman was on the phone.

O’Briens moving is a predatory and corrupt business. They trick their customers into signing complex legal documents that protects their shady and inept movers and provides no protection for the customer. I have thousands of dollars in damage after they performed our move, and so I immediately stopped payment on our check. I went through the proper process of notifying them right away of all the damages and send photos. A month later they requested photos again and so I sent them.

Let’s try this again since my first review was removed. Paid for a whole home pack/move with a 6 month storage stint in between pickup and delivery. Ive moved four or five times in my life, including a major cross-country corporate move. I expected white glove service and sought out what i thought was the best company (not the cheapest, nor the closest to me, etc). What i got was a bunch of stuff, some brand new, damaged. While things happen, never have I experienced anything like this.
This company is absolutely horrible. One worker was extremely rude and cursing the entire time. He was complaining about the size of the furniture. They scratched the walls with the furniture. They scratched and damaged the furniture beyond repair. The furniture was not protected at all. The drawers were not put back correctly. He was screaming at me (a woman) and extremely disrespectful.

Mr. Shah, This review is over the top based on what actually transpired. As you mentioned, everything was going fine with the move until the ping-pong table assembly, and that was the crux of the problem. The estimate that you signed was for $1911.83.

While doing renovation work on our home, it was necessary to put a lot of our furnishings in storage. After calling a few movers, we decided on O'BRIEN'S MOVING & STORAGE for a few reasons: 1. Their webpage had great information about their nice, clean trucks, large facilities, friendly employees, and nearby location, 2. They quickly sent a representative to our home 3. They quoted the job within a week 4. They gave us a fair price 5. They were ready to go when they promised.
From my first interaction setting up the estimate appointment, the estimate with Josh, he was so helpful, my move was a little more complex and he answered all my questions. On moving day, Phil and his team were on time, well coordinated, efficient, polite, and worked their butts off! This was my first time ever using a moving service and I can’t say enough good things about their expertise and professionalism! Thank you to O’Brien’s!
O’Briens Moving- let’s start off by saying they are Team! EVERYONE WE WORKED with was just stellar! Starting with Trish, Josh and Ginny who got this difficult process started for our family. They made it so easy. To the AMAZING 3 Men crew ( Axel, and his 2other crew mates) who showed up on the day of moving with such great personalities and compassion for our property and personal items. Being on the 2nd floor, up & down moving heavy furniture and large items NEVER A COMPLAINT!
I had a great experience with O’Brien’s Moving & Storage. Their team was extremely professional, respectful, and efficient from start to finish.
