This company is like the typical moving company-- not that great and, in my experience, untrustworthy. My overall experience with them was mixed. We hired O'Brien's to move our 4-bedroom house into a moving trailer that we rented from another company. We packed everything ourselves, so O'Briens just needed to wrap all of the furniture and pack everything into the trailer. My one star is for the insurance claim that was denied. I filed an insurance claim for damage done to the home while they were working.

The person that handles the phones to schedule Costco deliveries is the rudest most unprofessional person I have dealt with. I think her name is Kristy. Believe me, I will be letting Costco know and hopefully they will take their business elsewhere. I know I will!
The company i work for hired these guys to move our office ( locally might i add) and it was a total disaster not to mention a very expensive disaster. Not what we signed up for at all. Lazy and not efficient at all. We did most the work and still need more work done. Clearly not a reliable company. I do not recommend this company to anyone who has a business. They would be good for apartments or small houses. Workers made jokes about how much we spent on this and laughed it off.

We tried to use Beacon services they screwed us out 1500$ by giving movers wrong size of storage unit the movers wanted to collect a extra 4,000 which we could not pay and the company would not refund money that was already paid. Beware when dealing with Beacon movers.
Ms. Nelson, I have not been able to locate any information regarding a move under your name in our system. We are an agent for Bekins Van Lines however we are one of 100+ agents across the nation. I believe the issue you may have had was with another moving company or another agent.
Tried calling, lady who answers the phone was completely rude and actually said well just so you know we charge by weight. Didn't know I had to weigh my house to get it moved. Oh but it's okay because somehow they are booked up until january.

I can't rave enough about O'Briens Moving & Storage. They moved our house last Wednesday, and it was about as perfect a move as you could ever hope for. From the very beginning, the four man crew was careful and courteous, and clearly took pride in what they do. Every piece was protected with care- you could tell they treated it like it was their own.
Roxanne and Tom, We cannot tell you how much we appreciate this amazing review. We strive to have each move to be affordable and stress free for the customer. It sounds like that was accomplished! We appreciate your business and if you ever need us in the future, we will be there.
We were referred to O'Brien's Moving and Storage though a friend in Reno. We couldn't be more pleased with the Professionalism and Service. They were quick to set up Luke to come out and give us a quote and scheduled the actual move date right away. Luke was on time for our quote as were the movers on our moving day. All three of the gentlemen who moved us were professional and courteous from start to finish. From the initial phone call to the completion of our move, we felt like we were treated as family.

O'Briens moving are the best! From the first time they came in to give us a quote to the last box moved in, they communicated often and efficiently, stayed true to their quote, and took immense care in putting our things where we needed them. THEY ARE AMAZING! 10 out of 10!

The two employees showed up on time and were very polite and ready to work. Our quote was 8 hours and they finished in 5 hours. Office staff checked in prior to move and confirmed all details and check in after move to make sure everything was taken care of. Would use this company again for sure!
