This is my second review of Omega...Here's my experience below: I called Omega on Tuesday 5/26/26 to get a quote for my move. Set up a walk-through appointment for Thursday 5/28/26 in the afternoon. No call, no show...This was the 3rd moving company that did this. I left a one-star rating that afternoon. That evening, I got a call from James Burgess who made excuses for being busy and started begging me to take the review down. He said that he would come on Friday morning early (5/27).

This company is a complete joke! It took 3 guys 5 hours to load less than 20 pieces of furniture. The manager showed up in flip flops which I’m sure didn’t help speed anything up and is definitely a safety hazard. Also, beware if you have any heavy furniture because they will charge you $280 and up to move just that one piece! And if all of that isn’t great enough they broke my couch. Definitely don’t recommend this company. Too expensive and way too slow!
We are sorry to hear you were unhappy with your experience. When your on the 4th floor it can add some time to the move. The contract clearly states our specialty item policy. This review will help us to become a better company overall. We thank you for your business.
Let me start off by saying the crew was great but the way this business is ran is piss poor!!! When you setup the appointment it’s all done over the phone they don’t even come out to look at the property to give you an estimate (which should of been the first red flag) but they are super nice at first and I was given a total estimate and then also told that during the process if time gets to be where it’s getting close to run over the estimate that the crew will let me know so we can decide how to go from there…

Got forced to leave a review while the moving crew was finishing. Awkward and unprofessional. The move was over twice my quoted price, and multiple items were damaged. The movers also said they were taking a break to get Gatorade on the clock, and mentioned the store was out so they requested to use my Gatorade instead. Threw items around while unpacking them. Made fun of art pieces that I had which were being loaded. Just an overall really bad experience.

This was the first of two moves that I have used them.Omega Movers are an amazing company! I cannot say enough good about them.They moved my entire household, including my piano. James helped me out of a jam and I’m forever grateful. The guys were professional, flexible, caring, pleasant, compassionate, efficient, trustworthy and they truly cares about the customer. Excellent moving company! They were able to get to us on the same day. James and William were the best!!!! Super fast and efficient. They were not messing around. They helped us unload a 20ft truck into a second level apartment (with no elevator) in less than 2 hrs. Super polite, kind, and wouldn't let me lift anything more than a few feet. Highly recommend.

Anthony and Atlas were incredible. They moved my bed frame, mattress, and giant sleeper sofa all into my duplex, which sits on a steep hill. They were fast and efficient. I am genuinely so thankful for their help. I would NOT have been able to get that stuff moved in on my own, in they did it in ten minutes tops, if not less.
