In their own words
My experience with this move was extremely disappointing. I booked based on pricing that was provided after I disclosed the items being moved. Relying on that information, I paid a deposit, scheduled my move, took leave from work, coordinated arrangements for my children and pets, and fully prepared my home for moving day. When the movers arrived, I was surprised to learn that the pricing and expectations being presented differed from what I understood during the booking process.
Hello JP, I feel that this review is unfair. … More
I moved from Oxon Hill MD to Glen Burnie MD. I hired optima moving because they came recommended by someone I know who had a good experience. I had unexpectedly been in and out the hospital due to health concerns and I’m a single woman moving. I thought the men at optima moving were honest individuals. I was wrong. There were 3 men. 1 of which became irate toward the end of the move.
Don't even think about this company. Stay away! Mariush and Stafan will promise quick move and affordable rates, but it's a lie. This is a worst gipsy company I've ever seen. Unprofessional behavior, rude and disrespectful movers. this guys do not understand what customer says. They scratched up my dresser, damaged bookshelf plus they used dirty torn blankets. After all this mess they asked about tips? Shameless people!
MOVERS came to my home I explained everything and left. The called me told me they are finished.. Tipped both of them!. Went back to my home a lot of stuff still there. I was pissed! ! Called and talked to the owner ! Nothing was done! And the. hung up on me! DO NOT USE OPTIMA MOVERS!! SCAMMERS! TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GO A DIFFERENT MOVING COMPANY!
My experience with this moving company was bad. I can say that the movers were polite thieves. After an encounter of missing money from my home, the foreman of the crew was very impolite after being asked about the incident. I would never recommend this company to anyone not even a four legged animal for services.
I have used Optima twice in the past and have had stellar service. This third time (reserved for today) has been an absolute disaster. I was on their book reserved for 3pm today and I got a call AT 3 PM with them canceling. Marius called me …
I had schedule my appointment 2 weeks before my move out date. I confirmed the time the Friday before my Monday move. Move time comes around, and no movers. We wait 20 minutes and still nothing. Finally at 1:50 we are told the job ahead of …

In their own words
I moved from College Park to Silver Spring last month and honestly I was dreading the whole thing, but Optima Moving made it so much easier than I expected. The crew that showed up, three guys, were super efficient and clearly knew what they were doing. They wrapped all my furniture carefully and got everything loaded way faster than I thought possible. Not a single scratch on anything.
Thanks so much, Derek! Moving from College Park to Silver Spring can feel overwhelming, but Carlos and the crew love making the process as painless as possible. So glad all your furniture was wrapped safely and placed right where you wanted it.
Used Optima for a local move in the Landover area. Quick quote, no surprises on the final bill, and the movers were friendly. Good experience overall.
Appreciate the review, Josh! Glad your local move in Landover was straightforward and that our quote was right on target. Hope you are enjoying the new place!
Moved from Silver Spring to Hyattsville. Clean truck, on time, no nonsense. Would use Optima Moving again without hesitation.
Appreciate the review, Ricky! Glad the crew was on time with a clean truck for your move from Silver Spring to Hyattsville. Thanks for choosing Optima Moving!
I've lived in the College Park area for about six years and have used a few different local movers over the years. Optima Moving is hands down the best I've tried. I was moving to a place near Adelphi and the whole process, from getting a quote to the last box being placed, was smooth and professional. They actually called me the evening before to confirm the time and run through any special requests, which was a thoughtful touch.
Thanks for the great feedback, Herman! With all the local movers around College Park and Adelphi, it means a lot that you chose us and had such a smooth experience. Glad the floor padding and confirmation call helped make house moving day easier!
