What a terrible experience with Philippe and p4p. The move was booked for 9:00 am, the first mover arrived at 10:00 am, and the second one arrived late at 10:45 am. I have two marble tables. Philippe told me there was an extra charge of $65.00. I said okay, and I took care of the smaller table myself, while the movers handled the larger one. Then he asked me to pay in cash, saying he doesn't accept credit cards. No one had warned me about this.
Hello Mr. Croteau. We contacted you the same day that there was a storm and the roads were terrible. Regarding the small marble table, I informed you that there was a $65 handling fee. You said you didn't want to pay. In good faith, we spoke on the phone twice to try to reach an agreement.
Update: Due to this negative review, the company has reneged on its verbal commitments and has now lost my chair. The move was canceled at the last minute in the morning because the truck broke down. No reasonable alternative was offered for the morning move; I was told it could only be done after 6 PM that evening or the following day. I chose the following day option because it was a very poorly planned and last-minute decision.
Dear Ms. Brault, we are sorry about the broken window pane. We offered you $50 to repair it. And about the Walmart patio chair that was lost... strangely enough, we don't know who stole or ate a patio chair. We offered you $100 in compensation, which you refused.
I recently used the moving services of P4P and had an extremely disappointing experience. When I first called Philip, he assured me that there would be no hidden fees and that the cost would be $180 per hour. However, the reality was far from what was promised. First of all, the movers arrived 45 minutes late. While I understand that traffic can be an issue, this was just the beginning of the problems. The team consisted of two young boys who were clearly inexperienced and struggled with the work.
M. Babacar.. i am shocked at your review. We dispatched a team for your move on June 28th. All details were explained to you during reservation. You can call 10 moving companies on a search on Google..and they will all tell you there is a transport fee. It was reiterated to you several times.
Phil was delightful to speak with however, the movers arrived 45 minutes late never called to say they were late and damaged the floor and although I have tried several times to reach out to Phil to have it repaired compensate for me to have it repaired I never heard back

I had a terrible experience with these movers. Imagine, after confirming the appointment twice, a week before the moving date, they called me the day before to say the truck had broken down and we'd have to postpone the move to the next day, assuring me they'd be there Sunday morning instead of Saturday, which I agreed to because I trusted them. Then, on Sunday morning, the day of my move, they texted me to say they weren't coming...
Hello Souaad. We apologize for the inconvenience. We were scheduled to do your move for the Saturday. We called you on Thursday to advise you that our truck was in the garage and could not make it. We rescheduled for the Sunday hoping that our truck would be on the road.
A company that parks on bike paths with complete impunity is definitely not to be recommended... and it's a real lack of respect and professionalism! It's a shame I can't give zero stars...
I do not recommend this company due to its unreliability and poor organization. It struggles to establish clear communication and risks leaving you in an awkward situation on moving day.

I have been moving at least 6x in the past 10 years and P4P crew is the best movers I have ever had. Phillip and crew are very efficient, fast, and on time! They are meticulous and careful with my belongings. The most important aspect is that they are friendly and they smile all the time. I have so much stuff and I made them went up and down 4 levels placing the heavy stuff, never an excuse, everyone works with can- do attitude. Ended the day with a big smile.

This gentleman went over and beyond for my move. Phillipe is awesome. He was on time and worked all day in the rain and kept a smile on his face. Dealt with many obstacles and ups and downs but was on top of his game no matter what.
