Absolutely horrible experience. I was quoted a low price even after I explained just how big a job I had. Money was super tight so my options were limited. When it came to the bill they wanted triple the quote. I offered double because that’s all I had. At that point they got very pissy and passive aggressive. Mind you, we’re two older disabled women in a really crappy position financially and otherwise. They refused to take the rest of our stuff. They left a tv out on the lawn.
This was the worst moving experience I have ever had. The items being moved were minimal—mainly a mattress, bed frame, and a few other pieces—and the distance was only about 10 miles, yet I was charged for nearly four hours. One worker packed very slowly, while the other spent a significant amount of time inside the truck, which caused unnecessary delays. In addition, although the service was originally booked at a rate of $99 per hour, I was unexpectedly charged $109 per hour.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I'm all for entrepreneurship, but when you try to gouge your customers that's going to get you negative reviews and, most likely, put you out of business. Repeat business, anyway. I bought a sofa from Wine Country Furniture [That's another poor review. In my opinion, there's no way they can't know how many negative reviews Pack It Up Moving has ]. They suggested Pack It Up Moving to deliver my sofa.
Terrible experience overall. I originally had them scheduled to come on the 15th but then my move in date changed, and they were very willing to change the date that they were going to come and help me move so that it could be sooner. I spoke with Robert back and forth and he told me that they would charge $520 (3 hours drive time round trip, and 2 hour minimum).

Robert, Robert Sr., and Michael were great at their job. Made moving look easy. Friendly and easy to communicate with. There was some communication confusion on time. I was told on the phone while booking, they would arrive at 9. But they didn’t arrive until after 10am. Other than the later than expected start, They were professional and helpful.
