They damaged a wall in our move over 3 weeks ago, Drew’s response was to have the builder come back to fix it. It’s a new construction home, the damage was done by your employees, not a defect in the construction. AND we paid HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS EXTRA for the insurance!!!! The truck also broke down, was several hours late and one of the men smelled of pot which was transferred to our belongings.
Talks the good talk, but actions/followup unreliable, uncaring, and unprofessional, and his word is no good in my opinion. I absolutely had to have a few pieces out of a house by Friday. He said "no problem". He canceled my afternoon "no problem" move due to morning rain and suggested early the next morning, to which I replied that was fine. The rain stopped at a little after noon and sunshine the rest of the day for about 8 hours. So, he's a no-show for Friday morning and says (incorrectly) that I didn't confirm.
I used Palmetto Specialty Transfer in June. In that process, they damaged and broke $1200 worth of items. I recently called to allow them to make it right, and they told me it wasn't their fault and they would not be reimbursing me for any damages. I understand they didn't pack the items, but they threw boxes around, unloaded boxes upside down, and generally didn't take care of any of my possessions. I have used movers on 6 different occasions, and have never had this issue.

I highly recommend Palmetto Specialty Transfer. The owner came out quickly and provided me with a solid estimate and knew it was a company I could trust. I ended up using several of their services: first they picked up and stored some of my furniture locally until I was ready to move the rest of my belongings. I hired Palmetto Specialty Transfer in July to help me move my mom's 4500sqft home to a storage unit. I was really concerned over some of the custom furniture that had been hers for 50+ years. Some were heavy, and some were hand painted and made of bamboo. There were a ton of porcelain decorations as well as paintings and china. Drew estimated the manpower needed and the time they would be there. They arrived early and with extra manpower.
