Peasley Moving & Storage

Charged 60% more than the estimate, scratched most of our furniture, rude, and a truly horrible experience. The moving crew didn't even show up with pads or anything to protect our furniture,. Our "coordinator" never returned calls unless I called the previous owners to prompt her, then she left the country on vacation the week of our move without giving us anyone else to call or even telling us she'd be unavailable.

We are a business that was shipping product from our supplier to our clients peasley was the middleman to deliver to our clients on our last delivery the client was missing parts of her product George said they delivered it yet my client said no they did not and they gave her no receipt luckily my client took a picture of the receipt before they left. She sent me a copy after reviewing I could see several items were not checked off checking the items off yet peasley refused to show me the original paperwork .

We have moved many times in our lives, some local and some across the country. Peasley was by far the worst movers we have ever experienced. During construction of our home, we had Peasley move and store most of our household goods and furniture. The original packing and moving crew had a foreman that was outright rude and condescending. We came close to kicking him out of the house. There were several pieces of furniture that were brand new, and we asked them to take great care. That didn't happen.

I'm completely unimpressed with this company and the workers Thank God when we fired them another company came to the rescue got us packed in one day when we made reservations for them ( peasley) to pack us almost two months in advance . Showing them each thing they would need to do and getting quoted all the sudden the day they come to pack after canceling our two day moving and packing they give us one day show up and do not want to work at all completely rude , walking around telling us what they won't do after…

when you hire a company to move your belongings,you expect them to take care and pride. Knowing that there might be some special items. Maybe at the very least ask! I used Peasley transfer and storage to move me. They broke several items that were from my grandmother in Germany pre-war.. I understand that things happen when they ask me for a breakdown of all the items I was very fair in my ask! Their offer 52.50!

Horrible!!! We ordered a bedroom set, and Peasley was hired for the "white glove" delivery company. Our bed was set up incorrectly. They failed to attach the main supports that actually hold up the bed, along with not attaching pieces correctly or tightening all of the board supports. As a result, our bed almost fell through and broke our brand new bedroom set that cost us a few thousand dollars. They were very unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable.

Great movers, poor experience. My daughter had breakables in a box that seemed just thrown in the truck. An office desk was damaged beyond repair and they lost some parts rendering my entertainment center worthless. Then their claims process was a joke. Really? I have to print a pdf, fill it out, and send back? I don’t have a printer. An email/fillable form isn’t available? Pretty convenient. Very good individuals doing the lifting, probably underpaid. But I expect better for $2000+.

Very sub par household move. We have had several household moves in the last ten years and this was by far the worst. Untrained crew lead and crew resulting in damages to items. Did not bring enough supplies on the truck and had to be instructed to wrap dressers and antiques. Estimate was off by 50 percent. Poorly represents a national company. Find a moving company with better and more consistent reviews!
