In their own words
Bill Lamb, the owner, is a very unreliable communicator and does not accommodate abnormal schedules or special communication requests. I tried to arrange a last-minute move with a hard deadline 11 days away, and included in the request submission that I would require communication via email or text due to working an overnight shift.
Customer service was horrible. They tell me they are available on the day I requested and then I tell them the stuff that needs to be moved and it wasn't much, they suddenly say they cannot squeeze me in that day. I haven't even told them …
I want to make clear to everyone who reads this review that we had no contract with Sarah – she was not our customer. We had a text exchange over a span of 90 minutes about our availability for her job on June 23rd which is one week from the day she wrote this review. We never spoke on the phone.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
Prompt, professional, and highly efficient! Bill and Jose moved us into our new home and were incredible. They were very careful with our belongings and offered fair and honest pricing. We would definitely recommend and use them again!
I had an amazing experience with Perfect for Small Moves! Tyrell arrived a little early and helped keep cars out of the spaces I cleared. Him and Bill were communicative and efficient, they helped me moved out of my group home into a 2bd in less than 2 hours. Also, they're all around great guys to chat with. Best priced movers in DC. Can't recommend them enough!
Perfect for Small Moves LLC was extremely professional and easy to work with. I recommend them very highly for anybody who needs to do a smaller apartment move in the DC area. They went above and beyond making sure everything was secure and protected during the move, and were very efficient and charged a very fair rate. The owner, Bill Lamb, was a pleasure to deal with and made the whole process very painless.
BEST SERVICE FOR SMALL MOVES INDEED! Working with Bill and Tyrell was easily the best decision we've made! Super nice and efficient. We did the move in exactly an hour. We didn't have almost furniture just boxes and bags of clothes and few other small things and it was perfect! If you have a smaller move don't look anywhere else ;) Best price also!!
