Because I wish someone would have warned me. I took 3 weeks to write this review so that I didn’t write it based off emotion but the true experience. Richard never came in person to quote us which I believe started the entire experience off on the wrong foot. Unprepared doesn’t even get the point across. They showed up 3.5 hours LATE to pack a 5000 sq ft house in one day with 20 boxes and 2 people. They left within 4.5 hours and did not finish.
*^*UPDATE*** FRAUD! Really. What Pink Zebra did was had me pay for a service they did not provide! As a customer and real estate agent, I would never recommend Pink Zebra to anyone. This move was the worst I have ever experienced! One male and one female was sent to move a 2BR flat condo to a 4BR house. He complained because he stated all she wanted to do was drive, but there was no way he could move me on his own. He was in disbelief and so was I.
This was not conducted by Pink Zebra moving. We don’t have a record of this. You are more than welcome to call the location that services your area. You may a victim of fraud What was the names of your movers
I’ve been trying for literally 9 months to get a status update on my claim for a broken lamp. I’ve emailed every week, and eventually (earlier on) no response. I figure I won’t get my money back and it’s not surprising to me to see that they are closed down now. I will say though that the guys were great during the move . No issue there and I understand accidents happen. My issue is with the office/management
I'm going to tell the truth about this company. They will break your property and go out of their way to look for anything to not have to have any responsibility! They would love to call and harass you whenever you call them about a move but God forbid they do something wrong and then you are on the hook for repairing your own property. These guys damaged and broke off two legs off of my couch while moving it. After a guarantee you that they take good care and everything of your stuff.
Our experience started off pleasant. The guys seemed very professional and ready to work but We were unpleased by the way the guys packed and delivered our packages. When they arrived at our home, they complimented how well organized everything was and thanked us that some things were already prepackaged. It seems like they just threw our things into boxes without care. When they delivered our things, boxes were EVERYWHERE, barely could see the floor. That was extremely overwhelming.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We were initially forgotten about on 1/27. I called to make sure them were coming out as we booked you since it was approaching 10am and no one had showed. Richard was able to get a last minute 2-man team together out to us at 12pm (after promising his best 3-man team because we gave such a respectful notice of move). We paid for time, and for the kitchen to be packed. That was it.
Thank you for your feedback. Damages were outside guidelines for liability insurance claim, but we still payed maximum for the damage even though we were not found liable. Hug Discount was issued. Unfortunately we exhausted all efforts to satisfy your expectations.
Did not live up to the 5-star standards advertised on the website or verbally communicated by Richard. No show for the scheduled consultation for estimate/quote; ended up being completed over the phone when I contacted them. Richard was apologetic and claimed to be very busy and asked to do the estimate/quote over the phone. Received confirmation of move via email, but no verbal or written communication to notify of expected arrival time on day of move.
Will never use them again and advise everyone to stay away. 😡😡 This was my second move with Pink Zebra Moving company. The first move last year 2024, was a hassle free move except the movers were late. This move on Jan 30, 2025 wasn't. The movers wetr late! I was told they would be there between 8a.m. and 10a.m. They showed up at 10:45a.m. and started working a little past 11a.m. I had to leave between 12:15 and 12:30 to meet the gas company representative to have my gas turned on.
