Expensive, took 3 weeks to deliver, non responsive, salespeople seem to quote different prices. Additional add on fees. We wanted to move from North Carolina to Florida using pod. We originally wanted to use them using a promotion they sent by email saying we would receive a $100 Amazon gift card. - that was a lie as after placing our order and being transferred they never heard of it and they stated it was “a lottery”.

I would never recommend pods to anyone i trusted them to move my belongings and in the moving of the pod after we loaded it PROPERLY my 75 " tv was destroyed....it was bubble wrapped and also wrapped with blankets and placed between mattresses for extra support. When the pod arrived back for us to unload the whole pod apparently was picked up on one end and as we tried to open it all my stuff was slammed up against the roll door making it hard to even get open and my tv was up against the door like the lifted one…

I was very disappointed. I told the Person I ordered from that my mother’s house had been flooded and we needed a storage pod to put her furniture in. She told me an 8 x 8 would hold two complete rooms of furniture. Even though we had to get rid of a lot of stuff because we lost a lot of stuff the storage pod I cannot believe how small it was when it arrived and it would not hold two complete rooms of furniture.

Ordered a unit in August, needed it picked up by September. Drop off was fine- the mover was able to open my unlocked gate without me, manuever the truck and place the pod with little issue. First scheduling was fine, it was the pick up being the issue. Everytime the movers came, there was an issue. First time, I got a call around 11 saying that the movers were on their way, the email I received with the timeframe said I didn't need to be home, the service was completely contactless.

This specific Ocala FL location is a joke. The driver clearly didn't even know what the company had in the contract. Then they wouldn't answer the phones at the Ocala FL location even from multiple customer service reps called over multiple days. pods is normally ok, but this Ocala location is terrible. we still have a case with pods about this location that has been on going for 2 months.

They hold your stuff hostage while charging your credit card what they want. You can complain all you want to the tune of we'll give you 50$ for your trouble. Do yourself a favor rent a large truck,and or a moving company to haul your goods. PODS might seem like a good idea, at first. I had to wait 2weeks to have my stuff delivered.

DO NOT use PODS! I cancelled my POD after it was delivered, never used it and they kept the entire amount charged with no refund of part of that initial amount!

Completely ridiculous! Moving from Newberry Florida to Fort White Florida (30 mins away) they picked up my POD from my old house but refused to drop off my POD to my new house! No one told me this when I scheduled the POD. I have spent hundreds of dollars to make my move easy and now they tell me I have to go to the storage facility in Ocala and move things individually myself!!! Isn't this the point of a POD. Only reason I rented the POD was to make my move easier!

In their own words
Communication was quick and easy to understand. All pickups and drop offs were in the time windows and professionally done. I used the a large pod to pack up a house and store items before moving to a new house. None of the items were damaged. The pod was promptly picked up and promptly delivered at the new house when scheduled. I would definitely use again in the future.

I purchased a home out of state, the sellers were using PODS and recommended them. I liked the flexibility that a moving unit provided. This was my first experience with PODS and I made a rookie mistake in not coordinating the initial drop-off with the desired pickup and delivery dates, as it put me behind my preferred timeline, but in the end it worked out very well. I used the small POD and it was tightly packed, so there was no damage or breakage.

This was my first time using a moving service, and while my experience is Virginia was not the best, working with the Ocala location— specifically my driver, Jeremiah— has been nothing short of incredible! I booked a moving pod that gets packed and shipped, and Jeremiah dropped my stuff off about a week or so after I moved from VA.
