Good Evening I contracted Power Movers to move me from a 2 bedroom apartment in Houston to Richmond Texas. I was excited about my move and they sent a moving crew of 3 men to get the job done on Aug 30,2024. 30 minutes into the move, Isaiah which was one of my movers loaded his dolly with 6 of my moving bins that was marked fragile for kitchen and dining. As he walked out of my apartment, I could see the dolly was leaning forward and heard a loud crash to the ground.

The set up process for the move was great, communication was great. Arrival window was 12-3, they showed up around 3:30. The guys worked fast, but in the end damaged my TV and broke the TV stand. My problem is with the claim. After damaging the TV, which no longer works and breaking the legs off my TV stand, they reimbursed me just about $104.00 total. I completely understand the $0.60/per pound policy, but the total move was $1,106.

Went over the allotted time they projected by 3+ hours and they scratched my furniture also. They did give me $50 for the repair after I had to call them back to find out where their repair guy was. I will never ever use them again. And Please don't reply with " oh we tried to help or " we're sorry you were not happy or even " we gave you fifty dollars for the damage" You should be ashamed for the service you provided as we are seniors and I wouldn't have gotten the $50 from you if I wouldn't have called you for…

Power Movers completed a move for me today and I was totally impressed. The men on the moving team were rock stars! Their work was excellent in every way. I’ve made several moves in past years with other companies that turned out to be bad experiences, so I decided to use Power Movers based on their great reviews. We used Power Movers to move houses in Houston area. The packing and moving team was very efficient and worked responsibly and diligently. Provided all necessary materials to move all items safely.
