Extremely Frustrating Experience – Poor Product and Unprofessional Service I purchased a Boston baby grand with a silent system from Pritchard Pianos in December and paid in full upfront. I made it very clear the silent system was essential due to my family situation. Greg, the salesperson, promised delivery by year-end, but after multiple delays and constant follow-ups on my part, the piano wasn’t delivered until February. To make matters worse, the silent system has never worked.
Selina, we appreciate your patience as we’re working on this for you. As you know, we’ve been in touch with the CEO of the silent system company and he has been proactive and helping us get everything perfect for you! Thank you again for your patience with us. Respectfully, Clark Dawson owner.
This is the words experience I ever had, we when for a piano and will like to finance it but because of a prior credit issue that I had was denied the owner Dave ask if I can have someone else apply and I had my dad apply and they did not even wanted to run his application because the Piano will be deliver to my address, then Dave ask if there was another way that we could play for the Piano I again ran out of my way and got my mother to put it on her credit card I call Dave and gave him the CC number and he call…

Terribly disappointing experience. I had called about selling my used Baldwin because we were moving and spoke with Greg. They had interest and offered to pay me and said I would receive a call for pickup from Clark. For a week I kept following up and finally got a note from Greg that the reason Clark didn’t call was because plans had changed and they would not be picking it up.
Dear Donna, it was certainly not our intention to upset you. Given that not one staff member from our store has ever met you in person, your review seems quite intent on hurting and damaging our otherwise impeccable reputation of nearly 60 years.

Pritchard’s piano moved our baby grand from our home in sarasota to Lakewood ranch. Top notch service. The crew arrived on time, were efficient and professional and delivered the piano promptly. Our Yamaha is almost 40 years old and is a member of our family. So happy that Pritchard’s could help us. Definitely would use them again.

Pritchard's Pianos gets a 5 star rating from me. They have been in Sarasota County for years, have a professional staff, and a wonderful selection of pianos, both acoustic and digital. Originally I went in looking for an acoustic piano and had never thought about buying a digital until I heard how great they sound. Steve Westbrock of Pritchard's explained the differences and played both types. The digital piano was the choice for me.

What an wonderful experience shopping at Pritchard's Piano. Clark Dawson listens carefully and evaluates what your piano needs are. He showed me his choice of piano for me, I played it and didn't look at any other pianos. It was a perfect fit for me. It is a beautiful instrument. My husband Tao Lin and I have purchased not 1, but 2 Steinway pianos from Clark Dawson. These pianos (a 7 ft and a 9 ft) are in mint condition and Clark is always very responsive and helpful. Deliveries were punctual and smooth and we are very happy with our purchases. : )
