Review for R&A Movers I am sharing my experience to help others make an informed decision. I contacted R&A Movers the evening before a possible move and was told I would be placed “on the schedule.” I reasonably understood this to mean a future date. However, the crew arrived at my home the next morning at 9:00 a.m. without prior confirmation or notice. I was not prepared and had no opportunity to pack or organize. The movers began removing large items and transporting them to the new location.
Ad shows a truck but they rented a U haul which i was charged for I entered all my moving needs what was heavy ect they showed up with 2 guys then said they needed a 3rd so that was an extra charge and they quoted a 5 hour job they changed …
Movers were late. This should have been a red flag. Of the 23 moves I've had, I've never experienced slower and less organized movers. Long periods of inactivity. Then they nearly doubled the price because it took them so much longer than estimated. Look, either you know your movers are slow and idele and take that into account in your estimate, or you accept you don't know how to do a proper estimate. However, the movers were friendly.
I advise staying away from this business at all costs. Had two movers arrive; they demanded $500 in advance (no deposit) for three hours of labor. After only working for an hour they promised to return the next day to work the two hours they were paid. The following day they claimed it would cost an additional 230 to finish the rest of the job. Scamming at its finest.
Workers were great, truck wasn't big enough took much longer than quoted. Now we have to rent another truck to collect the rest of our belongings. Save yourself the headache and pick another company. They even came by and looked at the house and still didn't bring a large enough truck.

Can't say enough about the work ethic and service from these guys today. Showed up on time, worked very hard, very smart to get some rather large pieces of furniture up some narrow stairs. 2 person crew was fantastic, such energy and professionalism from all three gentlemen helping us out today. Would highly recommend to anyone.
R&A movers helped us with our move from Windsor to Toronto. They were friendly, professional, and they worked quickly and efficiently. They ended up being slightly less expensive than originally quoted, because they got the work done so quickly. We would highly recommend using them!
