We hired this company to move us from upstate NY to Virginia, with a confirmed delivery date of 6/24. That date came and went , no delivery, no clear communication. We were traveling with two small children and had no access to our belongings for four days. Our only updates were vague messages, including a photo of a tire on fire, and broken promises.

I have never left a negative review before, but feel compelled to here because this company made my moving experience absolutely horrible. The woman who took my initial information and gave me my estimate completely overpromised. She said she would be my point of contact throughout the process; I never spoke to her again. I was told later that she was fired for overpromising. I was told initially that my stuff would be delivered same day, maybe the next day. Instead, it arrived two days later at 10pm.

If I could give zero stars I would. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! Expect your estimate to triple, and to pay in all cash!!! Even tho they take your deposit on cc. Absolutely horrible company to work with. After I posted my first review, the owner Kris said he would be willing to refund us ~$200 if we removed our review. I removed it and never heard back from him. At this point I couldn’t care less about a refund and would love everyone to read my review about this horrible company!!!!

I can't make this any more clear, DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. The majority of the 5 star reviews seem fake, and the companies response to all the 1 star reviews should tell you all you need to know about how this company operates. If you care to learn more, let me share our experience: We were eager to begin the moving process when our estimate came in at a very reasonable price, although the costs began to increase.

I don't usually do reviews, bad or good. Especially bad because anyone can have an off day. I will tell you though, this moving company is so bad in so many ways that I couldn't just not speak up this time. Starting with pricing, Rapid Interstate Movers pulled a bait and switch. After all that was said and done, I paid almost twice as much as quoted. When quoting, you go over a list of things you want moved, I was given a quote. It wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive. I thought it was fair.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was recommended Rapid Interstate Movers by a coworker who heard they were affordable and reliable for out-of-state moving, but after using them, I can confidently say that was dead wrong. From the very first phone call, I should’ve known this was going to be a nightmare. The representative on the phone sounded completely disinterested, rushed through everything, and every single question I asked felt like pulling teeth.

This place seemed very shady from the get-go. There was only one person who ever picked up the phone. Right after I shared my credit card information to book a move, I got the first scam charge that I've ever gotten on that credit card later the same day. I had to cancel my credit card of course. I then called back Rapid Interstate Movers to cancel, and I was within the 48 hours stated on the agreement.

BUYER BEWARE: Complaint: I hired this moving company to relocate my daughter from Maryland to Indiana for college. The experience was extremely disappointing. The movers arrived late on pickup day. Delivery took two full weeks, which is unreasonable for this distance. Upon delivery, we discovered that my daughter’s mattress was missing. She had been without a bed for the entire two weeks. I left a voicemail and specifically asked Amanda to return my call. I never received a response.
