Ready Set Go Moving & Van Lines

These were subcontractors used by our moving company. The owner charged us more than was originally contracted, stating our stuff would be off loaded and put in storage, that "as per contract" they had 30 days to deliver. We were moving 5.5 hours up the road and had been told at the time of signing the contract that our household goods would be delivered the next day. They called the extra money an "EXPEDITED FEE"!! I had to go to two ATM machines to get the money because they wanted it in cash.

A Nightmare Experience with Ready Set Go Moving Company If I could give this company zero stars, I would. My move from El Paso to Houston with Ready Set Go Moving Company was nothing short of a nightmare. Settlement & Accountability: It took them 18 months to pay out a settlement for damages—yet they demanded I provide everything they needed within 90 days or else I would be in violation. Their paperwork even stated they would pay settlements in 90 days. The hypocrisy and lack of accountability were astounding.

This was by far the worst moving company I have EVER dealt with...never a response from them no matter how many times I called. "Their representatives" were always busy. The price always increased along the way. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS !!!!!!!!! Nothing but good about the drivers however. So my response to you is...who is to blame for the price increases ??? Metro hop relocation services started with an estimate of $6000 approximately. By the time all was said and done it was nearly $9000.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from this moving company. It has been over six months since I reported missing items from my move, and I have yet to receive any meaningful response or resolution. After submitting a review detailing my concerns, the owner publicly responded, stating they wanted to resolve the issue and asked me to reach out directly. I did exactly that. I contacted the company through the phone numbers provided and through every available form of communication.

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE!! (With proof attached) Absolutely terrible experience. It took 25 days to deliver my items. This company lost my baby’s crib and my brand new Tineco vacuum, and damaged both my TV and TV stand during our move. What’s even worse is the way they’ve handled the claim process afterward. I’ve been given completely different timelines every time I ask for an update — first 2–3 weeks by email, then 30–45 days by text, and now suddenly 180 days to “review” the claim.

Omg. I cannot say enough truthfully negative things here because I'll run out of space before I can list it all. These movers broke, damaged, or lost just about every piece of furniture we had. I knew it was a problem as soon as they opened up the truck and all our stuff was leaning to one side like the Tower of Pisa. They gave no care about piling heavy stuff onto big stuff. They lost or stole my dolly (hand truck), they probably conveniently mistook it for theirs.

Terrible experience. The people were friendly. That’s the best i can say. Most of our furniture was damaged or missing pieces - solid wood furniture was cracked and gashed, a desk was just plain missing a crossbeam that had broken off and been left/discarded. Boxes were missing. The tv was cracked. Totes were crushed. An antique mirror was lost. A shocking number of our items were repacked haphazardly and were dirty. Broken things were repacked across multiple boxes - It was bizarre.

Where do I even start with this mess? I received my household goods from MD and during the delivery, I was missing some boxes from the checklist. The driver said it was wrongly annotated. A few of my items were damaged and I am missing a few things as well. I tried calling the driver and he keeps rejecting my calls, not answering my messages. I tried calling the company phone number but no answer. I guess they decided not to answer my calls. All I wanted was to get my items. I don’t even want a settlement.
