Red Raider Moving | Residential Moving Service | Local Moving Companies

Red Raider turned out to be more of a hassle than moving myself, and a lot more costly. The crew showed up an hour late, then overcharged me $200, knocked a hole in the wall of my brand new garage and stole our $350 vacuum. After taking a lot of my time and energy I was able to get the $200 back. I was also asked to go through the process of a claim for the wall and was told it would take 30 days to process and that they would look into the stolen vacuum.

The only reason they have 1 star is because I had to give at least one to move forward. I called the day before to confirm my move with Lindsey. She says, yes tomorrow at 9:00 and the guys will call 30 minutes before coming. Today, they didn't call and didn't show! I called her over and over and she finally answered the phone, only to act like she couldn't understand why the movers hadnt made it. She said she was gonna find out what was going on and then call me back.

I have two customers I recommended Red Raider Moving to help them since years ago they did an excellent job. They damaged furniture of both customers. One could not get them to respond. The other was reimbursed for damage at 60 cents per pound. That is ludicrous. I’m looking for new movers.

Bait and Switch. Use this company only if you want more stress added to your life and a sudden price hike two days before the move. I had been quoted one price when I booked with Red Raider moving. Two days before the move (and after the point where I could have scheduled with another company), they called and said that their rate had increased by $10/hr. I accepted this because I had no other choice. Then, on the day of the move, no one showed up! No one was at the office to answer my calls/return my voicemails.

We were set up for a move at 9:00 on a Saturday morning. No one showed up, so we called. We did not get a call back until 11:00. They told us that there 7 call ins and they would need to reschedule on Monday at 2pm. No one arrived again and when we were called we were told that the team would arrive soon. We waited until after 7pm and they refused to call us back. We let them know we would expect them to take of our move on Tuesday by email.

This company moved my parents, and if I could leave a 0 star review I would! They were hired to move the whole house, and they left about 40% of everything which left my parents, who are not in the best physical shape, to figure out how they will finish moving! With what they paid, ($500 +$100 tip per mover) they should have easily been about to move the entirety of the contents of my parents belonging!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! This company is so unprofessional! They stood us up twice in one day. They were suppose to come at 9am it took us almost an hour to get some one to tell us that they scheduled our appointment wrong and that they will come at 1pm. THEY NEVER SHOWED! We called for over an hour. Red raider didn’t call us back until 3:20pm to tell us no one is coming. Every mover we called today to get a replacement has told me that red raider does this all the time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Only 1 star because you have to. Scheduled on Monday to Move on Friday, she (the owner I assume) said you’re all set the will be here by 10:00 if not earlier. Come 10:20 Friday, no one has showed up, I called and left a message, no response, called 3 more times through out the morning, no response. The amount of time and effort wasted set us back in our planned move. We ended up calling Bomb City Movers they squeezed us in on Saturday, they were awesome!!
