Absolute nightmare. I'm a disabled veteran that hired him and gave him the full price of what he wanted to move me and my wife from Texas to the east coast. For the amount I paid he really took advantage of me being a disabled vet and my wife with her back issues as well. First, he had a helper he was suppose to bring with him on the trip. Oh, where's the helper? He says, he wasn't able to leave the state. He's on probation. So he pulls up over 6 hours late and tells me this.
Oh wow. Can ya stretch it out anymore? First, I didn’t scratch a thing. Everything was padded. I pointed out everything of yours that was already scratched up and damaged or all the water rotten furniture in the garage.
I recently had a terrible experience with this company. They showed up to my house 45 min late and unequipped to move all of my furniture. Then, once everything they chose to move was loaded, they informed me they couldn’t go out of town because the trailer was not registered. Upon leaving, they ran out of gas and asked my husband to bring them a gas tank and diesel. They were supposed to return to finish the work two days later and didn’t. Now they won’t return my calls or texts. Very unprofessional!
Don't use this company, moved my things, and when I contacted about a missing box of expensive lamp shades and feather pillows, would not file an insurance claim or reimburse me $250 for missing items. Blamed me for forgetting items, I told him the house was checked by me and neighbor and nothing left.
Moved you October, for half price because you didn’t have a lot of money. Then you text me demanding money 3 months later. Insurance doesn’t work that way. I’m sorry. Everything was unloaded from the trailer. I don’t steal things.
Did a great job, or so I thought. I was already at my destination. They were to pack my remaining things, including my kitchen plates, cups, and silverware. They left those things behind, and now I must figure out how to get them as Jerry refuses to assist and states it is not his fault. He agreed to pack them and pay $50 towards shipping. I asked him to get a price for the shipping and he responded by stating he is blocking me!
Wendy, you and your realtor walked through the entire house and verified that we got everything after we were finished. I gave you a 2000.00 discount as well. This was a month ago. The new buyer found things that were forgotten.
My experience was not great. Overall I would not recommend this moving service to a close friend. They showed up a day late and had a smaller than usual truck. Luckily I had already moved items myself, and had sold my couches. I was told it would be $75 an hour but they failed to mention that was per person. So for an hours worth and some extra time it was $150. On the positive side the guys were nice and careful with our belongings.
When we spoke I told you that I could try to fit you in on sunday afternoon. I wasn’t sure if we could or not. I called you and explained the situation. You offered to do it the next morning. The charge was 75/hr with a 2/hr minimum. I would NEVER tell anyone a different price.

I am a senior citizen who moved from my townhouse to a senior living facility. Jerry and his helpers moved my daughter two weeks ago and did a great job. They did such a great job she recommended them for my move. She called Jerry for me & booked the date. Today they arrived on time and worked very efficiently. The move was completed in 2 hours. I am very pleased and highly recommend Reither Moving.

Jerry is a real gentleman who is very kind and hardworking. I dealt with him for the first time today when I was moving my son from Amarillo to Conroe and saw how easy it was dealing with him. I have used Reither moving 4 times as of today. They have always went the extra mile to suit my needs. They are very respectful, efficient and most of all professional. They treat your items like their own while moving them so it makes moving a bit less stressful. I have recommended them to several friends and family.
