In their own words
Moving my elderly dad to assisted living initially scheduled for 11am .They called me and asked if they could reschedule for 7am. I agreed. They didn't show up until 937 and they had subcontracted with A1 movers. Next time I will just call a1 directly .And they lost my dad's favorite blanket. Not happy.
Worst experience for a simple one bedroom move for my daughter. How could you mess that up? 3hrs late and the truck driver called, saying tire problem w/truck and Rob the owner could not pay for repair. At that point i rented a truck ($109)on my own and dissmissed Robs zip dogs. Rob drove to the pick up point and tricked my daughter into signing a contract. A quality zip dogged move. Rob provided an elderly and himself to start moving.
Thank you for your review and you want to call me the snake when you're the one that didn't try to keep your word on an agreement we made with you. when our truck went down we informed you that our truck went down and to see if there was an alternative way we could still get your move taken care…
I hired Zipdog to move my family to our new house and was told they would arrive at 9 AM to begin. They arrived at 11AM. After one hour of work they decided they needed more help so they got in their truck and left for another hour and a half to pick up another guy. By this point most of our belongings had been moved by my friends and family in our own vehicles. They finally arrived back at the house and finished loading what was left.
The movers showed up on time and where polite. They started to load the truck up and was getting close to being done. Then they just took off all of a sudden without telling anybody and left stuff behind that still needed to go. Also a book shelf was damaged and they did take twenty bucks off the price of the move. But before we could inspect things before they left, we noticed somethings that were also damaged.
I had 2 houses to move the 1st house went really good the 2nd house the Supervisor brought a different helper from the time they got there all that helper did was complain about everything I said something to the supervisor and the supervisor started arguing with me and said he could be very ugly and that we were messing up their million dollar job and they were frustrated because they had to go move a grand piano it was not my fault that they had to go move a grand piano alone wanted them to do was finish my job…
Overall very disappointed. Movers that showed up were very unprofessional. I only hired them for 3 hrs. The main guy spent literally 45 min of that time on the phone trying to give directions to another mover (who never did find our house). Another guy asked me how much we paid for our new house (and the answer is “none of your business”). Then after 3 hrs they tried to charge us $600!!! After about 10 min of me explaining that we were told $65/ hr, they finally conceded and dropped it to $230.
I had booked a call at least over a week in advance and was told I was the first move of the day. I wait for them to call to let me know when they are coming and nothing. I tried calling them over and over again for an hour and get no answer and then goes straight to voicemail we’re the inbox is full so I can’t leave a message.
I would give 0 stars if I could. They were scheduled at 9am and didn’t show up until 1pm. Took over 4 overs just to load up and by that point one of the guys seemed to have given up. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt because it’s hot but honestly it’s been an awful experience. I took their dolly and loaded up my entire suv on my own. I hired movers so that I didn’t have to do anything/stress and this has been the absolute opposite of that. DO NOT USE ZIP DOG IF YOU WANT ANYTHING DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER

In their own words
Hardest working movers around. Incredibly professional, tireless, efficient and took great care with our belongings. It was a complex move that we needed their packing assistance with on short notice. Nothing damaged, everything exactly in its place. No request was too much for them. The went above and beyond. Would and will use them again any day
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this incredible feedback! We truly appreciate you trusting Zipdog Moving Service with a complex move on short notice. Our team takes pride in being efficient, careful, and going the extra mile—especially when packing and handling belongings that matter…
I had zip dog move my three bedroom house. They were the lowest price out of all the other companies that I had gotten quotes from. I was amazed at how much they took care of my belongings and how promptly they completed the move. I would definitely recommend zip dog and will definitely be using them for my next move.
They did a great job for a great price. We had to move from Amarillo to a small town outside of Lubbock. We scheduled a time and they worked fast. They were careful with my items. Overall satisfied with the service Zipdog provided.
Thanks to Rob! He's moved belongings for a few clients. Responsive, helpful, reasonable, professional.
