Rise Movers Mississauga

Worst movers ever. 2 hours late kept calling telling me they were 5 minutes away but they were not. Damaged furniture, my stairs and a door. Overcharged me and held my furniture on the truck until I paid. No explanation as to why it was $300.00 more then what I was quoted. No extra furniture was added. Moving men would not listen to me when I asked them the remove the legs of my couch. They kept jamming it thru the door. Dented my son’s dresser, scratched my dining table. Horrible horrible.

I had a very disappointing experience with this moving company. They damaged my couch during the move and have refused to take responsibility or compensate for the damage. On top of that, the movers worked extremely slowly, which felt like it was done to stretch out the time and increase the cost. They also charged me for an extra 30 minutes of work that was never actually completed, which is completely unacceptable.

Worst company ever, I’ve moved a lot. They arrived with no tarps to cover the floors or the carpets. I had packed everything. Everything was ready to go to load. We had to help them bring boxes to the door so they can move faster. We did 80% of the work. They just have to put it on the truck .they drop boxes ,they dropped crates.

Availed their service recently and there are very important things one must consider before availing their services! Their Sales pitch should not be flatter you to believe that the services also would be like that! I didn't have a great experience working with them recently for reasons listed below: 1. Their quote is just indicative and it doesn't mean that the task would finish within the quoted hours hence you should ask questions like what would be the extended hours charges?

Before you hire this company, read this. I don’t like to post a bad review without giving the company a chance to rectify it, but my credit card was charged without my authorization and when I tried to speak to someone they told me the accounting department isn’t available until 2pm (it is 12:45 on a Tuesday) and just hung up on me instead of transferring.

⭐ 1 STAR – DO NOT RECOMMEND RISE MOVERS I would NEVER use Rise Movers again. We were told that having 3 movers would make the move faster, so we paid for three people. Somehow, it still took 3 movers SIX HOURS to move a two-bedroom apartment, and they didn’t even finish the job. We had already moved most of the boxes ourselves, so they were mainly moving the larger furniture. During the move, they dropped one of my dressers on the stairs.

How do I even give a company less than one star? Because this company deserves less than one star… There was an issue with my move over 2 1/2 weeks ago, and I still have not heard back from the owner!! I have emailed I have called. I have left messages and no communication back whatsoever. I have asked for a compensation for my hassle, aggravation, and time consuming frustration. DO NOT Use this company for your move because it’s nothing but hassle and lack of communication!

Unprofessional. They continued to mention receiving a tip before the job was completed. They were late by 55 minutes. They ripped the couch in two places. They damaged the bed frame. They tried to convince us to not bring the couch stating it didn't fit through the doorway. They asked us to leave a positive review, while the move was in process. They left the back patio doors wide open at the apartment on their final move out.
