This was the absolute worst moving company I have ever dealt with. They came reccomend and I was sadly very disappointed. It took them 9.5 hours to do a move from 1 two bedroom apartment to another from spruce grove to the west end of Edmonton. This move was for my elderly mother. My brother in law helped them move things out of the 1st apartment because the movers were taking their sweet time. He told them numerous times they needed to move faster with no avail.

After our move we were missing a box. Called them , they said would check with drivers and get back to us - never heard from them? They basically said they don’t make mistakes and it must be in our house. Well everything is unpacked and items are missing. So where did they go?? Totally disgusted with their lack of response and concern for our missing antiques. But as he said they don’t make errors- how come we have an extra ladder? Unfortunately for us my grandfather’s lantern is worth a lot more than a ladder!!

I didn’t even book these guys… the owner assumed he ‘sold’ himself enough to me as we spoke on the phone. Was very rude & dismissive. Said 2 men and few hours to then 3 men and 8-10 hours. Disregarded what I had to say. Save your time requesting a quote unless you would like them to talk down to you

I would would like to quote the email thread between the moving company and I as proof for my 1 start review. This email conversation happen a day before the scheduled move: Hello, Thanks for getting back to me. I’ll make sure to separate all the listed items separately and transport them myself. Secondly, I wanted to confirm that as per our conversation the movers will be here for 10am tomorrow. I’m hoping to have the house empty and ready to be handed over to the new owner by 12.

If you want movers to stand around playing on their phones and not move your stuff, hire these guys. The movers have no sense of urgency or care for your items. They left holes in the walls as well. I would not recommend, this company will waste your money. I had to pick up boxes myself to get the job done in a timely fashion. I hired this company in July of this year, on the recommendation of my parents. The actual movers were hard working & amazing to deal with. Unfortunately a few important furniture pieces, as well as my flooring in my new home, had damages as a result of this company. And don’t let them talk you into putting your household in storage either, a big rip off. Rent a pod & you’ll save yourself a lot of grief, trust me. I filled out a satisfaction survey after my moves & I have not heard back from anyone.

It takes a real lack of concern for other people to both park in a protected bike lane AND block the sidewalk for hours on end. Riteway moving van was doing both in the protected bike lane at 102 Ave and 100 St from at least 2-5pm on December 17, 2022.

Very pleased we chose Riteway Movers for our recent relocation. They arrived at the scheduled time, and were professional and courteous. They laid protective carpet to keep the house clean while they were working. They moved our possessions carefully and quickly onto the truck. We met them at the destination address, where they were ready to carry the goods into the new location. They moved our things efficiently into place. The cost for the move was competitive.

Recently had Riteway movers help my mom move from her apartment to another apartment and I can’t thank them enough for such a great experience. They communicated with me about the time they would arrive and were very considerate about where they parked to allow room to the other residents. They were very careful yet quick to pack every item so the move felt smooth. They offered to set the bed and couches up as well which was very appreciated.
