They showed up with a trailer that was way too small for all my belongings and when I told them it wasn’t big enough they still tried to shove everything in there. Many things were broken and scratched by the time it made it to the final destination. I reached out the owner and tried to make it right. It took over a month to get some of my money back, and what he sent me wasn’t even the amount we agreed on. Do not recommend this company.
Im sorry you had an unpleasant experience. We hear your concerns and will pivot our service so this doesn't happen again. Again very sorry some items got damaged.
Extremely disappointed! After confirming my parents’ time-sensitive move into assisted living, River Hill Moving simply didn’t show up. I was left in a ridiculous bind— the hours crept by and no one answered the phone or responded to my increasingly frantic voicemails. Thankfully, M&D Moving came to my rescue, showing up at 9pm to transport my folks’ belongings. River Hill has still not called me to explain or apologize. I can’t imagine a worse experience.

Totally great, start to finish. No manipulation, no strangeness. All good! Appreciated Trevor's initial, very thorough, transparent question/answer session with reassurance to call them for any questions, honest quote, honest price at the end of the whole move, and Nate and crew of 2 others the day of. Confirmation call given to me 2 days before, set my mind at ease. Super service.

March 2026: We recently used RiverHills to move 5 ½ hours to a new home. First off, the office was very responsive by phone and e-mail. They sent reminders of the upcoming date and time. The crew that moved us was excellent; friendly, agreeable and respectful – it was much easier than we were expecting. They called before hand and arrived on time, despite our very rural location. They handled all our ‘treasures’ with care.
John and Gracie, thank you so much for the wonderful review! It was truly a pleasure helping you move your 'treasures' to your new home. At RiverHills Moving, we know that moving 46 years of memories is a huge task.
I called and asked for a last minute move if possible. I explained that I had a 2 bedroom apartment with all my furniture recited to the call taker. I was very relieved they were able to squeeze me in the least minute. The crew showed up early which put us in a bind and we go off to a rocky start trying to figure out how to proceed. The crew tried to deal with the situation and we got a good amount of furniture moved in the time allotted.

RiverHills Moving Company is a class act! From the efficient and very professional and knowledgeable Jackson helping me to get my Mother's move all set-up on VERY short notice to the nice, polite, hardworking men, Lincoln and Cade, who made this move almost a pleasant experience, (no move is pleasant to me), it was a very good experience with all these people, each doing exceptional jobs and in answering any questions we had along the way too.
