Two Men and a Truck Moving and Storage

This was the third time that I have used Two Men and a Truck to move. The first two moves were great and that is why I have two stars. The movers I had yesterday were horrible! They arrived an hour late with no communication to me. One mover was smoking while moving my furniture and only stopped when asked. They broke a tiny box of ornaments because they dropped it. I will have to reorganize the trailer they packed because it was not packed carefully.

Do not use this company! They start out professional but end up charging way more than quoted. We used this company to move our stuff into storage. We had two guys and one truck for the first move. They both worked fast pace and were careful with our stuff. They had to take two truck loads which was more than what we were quoted but understandably so. One of the guys told us to get two trucks and four guys next time so it would be faster and easier.

STOLEN ITEM(S) — DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY Save yourself the stress and frustration! DO NOT hire Two Men and a Truck for your move. You’re far better off hiring family members or paying extra for a company that values integrity and accountability. During my move with Two Men and a Truck on November 1st( 7634 Reindeer Trail San Antonio, TX 78238), one of my personal items went missing while in their care..a pair of Gucci Platform Slides valued at $800. The item didn’t just “go missing”, it was taken.

Girlfriend hired these movers to help move her into our new apartment about 10 minutes away. They did a great job and were fast on the day of the move in, but the man that put together our bed frame for us did not put it together completely and did not tell us before leaving. Our bed frame broke completely in the middle of the night because of this, which was brand new and now less than a month after move in isn’t usable anymore.

I had to use their services twice in a week. Chris, Jonathan (both moves) and Ozzie all did great. Handled my belongings with care and were super quick and efficient. Finished up in a fraction of my quoted time. Edit: used them a two more times since this post and my experience has definitely gone down. 3rd move was unexpected and the pair were slow and inefficient. Took 2 1/2 hours just to load and another 2 to unload. They were not careful with my things and had poor communication.

Beware of this specific location in Leon Springs and Kim. They hire anyone. We had a table that was handmade, the young fly-by-nights even admitted they did not wrap it, so it fell in a 20 mile drive, fell on top of the door lock. They had to yank the door open, taking chunks out of the table, you can even see the screw threads from the lock. The worker had to slide under the door to move the table. When I called the office, a Kimberly said the workers never give her the pictures.

Don’t get their services! Worst experience ever, never had I ever had a discussion over a payment. They lie on their quotes but like Mr. Ace expressed himself,”it’s called an ESTIMATE!” As if one is the dumb one. Job not completed, damaged a lot of our stuff and they charge the time they “take off” from one place to the next, like if one is at fault they have to drive. My husband was still nice enough to give them cables because the truck broke down and they had no idea how to start it.

I used this company for my move on 1/30. The movers were professional and hard working. Unfortunately, my 65 inch TV got damaged during the move. When I called the company on 2/1 to notify them of the damage, I was transferred to Christina in the claims department. Not only did she not apologize for my TV getting damaged, she blamed me for the TV being damaged. After sending her pictures of the damage, she sent me a text message stating she could reimburse me $29 for the TV.
